Basically on my hard drive I have all my MP3s organized by albums in thier own folder.

I used Nero and said to create a data dvd.
THen I dragged and dropped as many folders(albums) that would fit until the disc as full.

Here is a pic of the directory.

It is in consitant on what it will read.

For example, the first dvd that i made, the head unit will not read the "aperfect circle albums"

The second dvd/third does. I didn't do anything to them to change the naming or anything.

Havent tried it yet but did you try with Nero and click where it said "create an mp3 DVD"

Well, I tried that option that you spoke of and made a mp3 dvd and had the same result.
I even unistalled my current version and downloaded 8.1 the most recent version and it still does the same.

Only shows 21 folders and that is it.

I did call clarion yesterday to see if they had any idea, and they didn't. I gave them all the details and the rep said he would try that and get back to me. I hope I hear back to see if he had the same result.

Anyone else have any luck with making a dvd full of mp3s?

Thanks. I had this happen once as well. out of 63 folders it displayed 53 and only 48 of them were accessible.

I may have to break down and get an ipod but didn't want to fork out that $$$$$$....

THnaks for your testing. Please let me know how the other disc works. I am curious if you will only see 21 folders.
