Ya it is a good problem but its a little crazy at the same time. I should be making back to f150 more frequently now.

Hey guys got a new toy for work.

If your drafting at all it is great. I did not realize how much time it took to move the model around with the mouse. I have already noticed a huge time difference working on models.

Looks good. Anything to save time at work is a good thing. Did it take long for you to learn how to use it? Technology is on the move with new an faster thing to make things easier. Looks pretty good size form the pic.

Ugghh!! How can one stupid U-joint put up such a fight?????
started process around 4 pm, got driveshaft out no problem. First part of u joint went pretty well, as it was first time using u joint press from parts store. Trying to get caps off of joint from the driveshaft part was a bee-otch!!!! Fought forever. By this time, it's dark out after I finally got it. Arms were tired from using breaker bar with the press. Then trying to line up drive shaft in dark, cold driveway, etc.. Finally got bolts started, just have to finish tightening up. Joint was shot by the way. It should have fallen out without a stuggle!!!!!!!

I know exactly what you mean. Had the u joints go out on my pickup a few years ago. Was going to do the job myself but took the whole shaft in to the repair shop an had them do it. One consolation is you saved some money doing it your self. If they would have had had a grease zerk they would never go out. The new ones do.

Congratulations on getting it done yourself! I've seen the technicians in our shop struggle with those sometimes. Doesn't look like a job I'd want to do myself. Good job though!

It did not take very long at all to adapt, I would say about 20 min I had the hang of it.

It is about the 6" wide and 9" tall not overly large but your hand fits on it very comfortably.

Yea, youtube lies!! Nothing is as easy as a practiced, set-up demonstration. Although I found an awesome video for when I do my ball joints this spring. I'll probably try that one too!!!

Feels good though when everything finally goes back together!

So I scored a TSC aluminum toolbox last night for only $100 from craigslist. That's my first modification so far other than some maintenance work I'm getting done this weekend.

So I found a cool cb - wanted to see if any of you know much about cb's and can look at this one. It has bluetooth capability for hands-free phone calls. Thought that was pretty cool.
Cobra CB w/ Bluetooth

I'm going to try to incorporate a cb and a scanner into this truck. Then someday maybe even a radio but I'll probably get a handheld radio from the fire station after a while so that will be better anyways.

It is definitely worth every penny. I have actually been looking for excuses to use it more. It is compatible with a ton of programs.

I know a bit about cb radios not a ton but enough that I can put them in and talk on them The blue tooth is pretty cool but I found that after the initial phase of having blue tooth capable stuff I just don't use it.

Okay, I have to rant here a bit.

I'm tired of having these Silverstar 9145s blow up in my fog light housing. Anyone else having those issues??
