It sounded really strong. The throttle was very responsive. Very good sign before I take it to the lake.

Yesterday was an awesome day to get some more parts put on my truck. I got her washed. I just love the way the F150’s look when they are all clean and shiny.

Jet ski Trailer project is well underway. Got the old trailer stripped, chopped. Tomorrow comes welding, hopefully primer. Left my camera at home, will get some in progress pics tomorrow. Everything not related to the axle in the back is now gone. Old coupler is gone, bow stop removed, fenders gone. Looking for nice tread plate fenders. Anyone have a good source? Took off about 24" off the back.

Here is what I started with...

^^^^^Tractor Supply has tread plate fenders for trailers of different sizes. Not sure at all on the prices though.....

So was anyone out on O street in Lincoln last night for the big cruise?? We went into town to the north Culvers expecting to see a bunch of cars....we were wrong. At 8:00 there were only a few cars there, and they left shortly after we got there. So we decided to head through town to get back home and that's when we found everyone. Streets were PACKED!! We cruised up and down from 9th street all the way out to 64th and back once or twice. Took like 2 hours! It was pretty fun. Got a bunch of compliments on my truck. There were trucks that were HUGE compared to mine though. Made me feel very small. I believe one guy said he was rolling on 42's! Was pretty fun though - There was even a 'Monster Car' that had to have like 44" tires and probably 25+ inches of lift on it!!

Krohbar, I may have seen you today on 168th. If it was you, I think you were checking me out too. You would have been heading South on 168th around 3:30 to 4:00. Black supercab with Husker plates. Couldn't see the grill to verify.

So who is a "Fer Sure" for this coming Sunday. I'll be there, probably with just my 8 year old. Other child has a birthday party. Let's have some fun this Sunday.

Wasn't me man. My head was in a welding helmet 'bout that time. Still trying to get that darn trailer finished. Few minor things to finish tomorrow night fab wise, then paint...
Be lookin' for the Roush scoop, hood stripes. Got a Screw.

Will be there next Sunday with the Fam.

I am for sure in, I can't speak for Cory but I think he is planing on being there too.

Krohbar: that trailer is going to be sweet can't wait to see it finished.

JD: That "Frankencar" lives somewhere in Lincoln, around 46th and Orchard. I always used to see him when I delivered for Valentions back in the day. We did make a trip down O street as well and there were some absolute beautiful cars out. I am glad they all had good weather to bring these cars out and show them off to the public.

Weshova: I too saw that Judge one beautiful piece of machinery.

I'll be there. Got my frame and wheel wells painted and got my state park permit over the weekend. I'm good to go! Can't wait - should be a good time!

I'll be there with the wife and kids. Have we figured out the grill situation yet?

Steeda1996, the grill situation is that all shelters are reserved for Sunday. What we are hoping for is that people will be packing up and leaving by the time we get there. That is the best we are hoping for. I know wives like to have more definative plans, but that's about all we have for now. We will meet by the playground that is past the Pavillion and the horse stables. The playground is on the right, and the shelter I'm hoping for is on the left. IIRC, it's called "Wild Turkey". Cross your fingers. Otherwise, I guess we will have to seek out another shelter to Hijack.

I thought I read that 05 was going to be bringing a gas grill along? If that is the case - do we have to have a shelter or can we get by as long as we find a big enough parking lot to take over??

I'm bringing my small tailgating grill also. I think we should plan as if we have no shelter. If one opens up, bonus.
