Anyone in the Omaha Nebraska area?
Hey guys, lots of cool pics of this wonderful winter we are having, I saw -14 as well this morning! I was hoping that moving a couple hours south from Northwest Iowa it would be warmer, I guess it is better than the -30 they had Saturday!
Anyway, we have been really busy, our second child was born Dec. 21. His name is Tyler Daniel, he was a big boy at 10 lbs, 21 in! We got him home just before the Christmas blizzard!
I also included a few pics of the sweet Cat skid steer that was nice enough to do my driveway as he was clearing the road, and one of the sled I bought a couple weeks ago. I bought it mainly for a trip to the Black Hills in February but obviously have been able to use it alot around here.
Hope everyone is doing well and stay warm this week! Sometime we need to get together and warm up with a few drinks! later

I tell ya, what's with the idiot 4x4 owners around here... Not sure how many of you have noticed the virtual ramp that has been created along the interstate divider wall I680 and I80 here in town, but I've seen a few suburbans propped over them yesterday and today. I just have to shake my head. And the stupid people in small cars that have to run the red because they were going to fast to stop. They deserve to wear the front end of my truck.
Congrats on the kid
And I agree with ya Krohbar I hate the idiots that drive like normal in this stuff. My favorite are all the stupid 1/2 ton trucks and suvs running around with plows on the front of their vehicles thinking they are indestructible.

Well......as you guys know I've been kicking around the idea of selling my truck. I keep listing it on craigslist and ebay locally every once and a while. I have a 2 guys fairly interested in it right now. Both have come and test drove it and really like it. The one guy is just waiting for his insurance check since he totalled his 2002 f150 and really, really likes mine. But with that said - at least I have decided not to go to a car. I have my eyes on a nice clean F250 but with my luck it will be sold by the time I get my truck sold. I'll keep you guys updated - it will sure suck though not being able to be part of the local 'group' of F150's. Unless you will let a F-250 in.....

I've always loved these older bodystyles. First thing that would have to happen is different wheels and bigger tires for sure. Front end leveling kit. Probably a big grill guard of some sort. That's probably as far as I'd go this time around. Concentrate on a stereo system and some power upgrades. Absolutely love that it's a manual tranny.
What do you guys think? Am I still crazy???

Nice looking truck
I love my F 250. Its also a diesel. I pull quite a bit with it and really performs. Gets pretty good mileage too. Mines a newer superduty. Wish I had a snow plow for it. The ultimate snow plow truck. Hope you can get yours sold an get that truck bought. How many miles on it. These diesels run forever.

I agree. It was either very well detailed out or very well taken care of. I'm thinking it was taken care of pretty good. It's not all banged up and trashed. I ran a carfax report on it here at work yesterday and everything is clean. No incidents at all. Only 3 owners so far I think.
Definately looks like a clean truck, not any rust on the rear wheel opening where it is prone on those years trucks.
Just an FYI about Carfax, some of you may know this, but it is good information to have. Carfax get the info for the reports from the goverment and the dealers. If the vehicle has had repairs done at a private shop, body or mechanic, nothing gets reported to Carfax. Insurance companies dont report to them either. So unless the auto has a title change or the dealer works on it there is little reported. It is a great tool but dont count on it to be 100% accurate about a cars life.
Example, My daughters car was totaled out by an insurance company, sold to a person who buys sells rebuilders, then sold to me. The car did not require a salvaged title to be put on it. So when you run the carfax it just shows the 3 title transfers.
Other daughters car does has a salvaged title, and it does show up on the carfax report.

Well - got a call today that requested that I don't sell my truck to anyone else because he wants to buy it for sure. He is working in Kearney this week but will be back in Lincoln on Friday. So Saturday if he is being serious my truck will no longer by owned by me anymore. Guess we'll see what happens.....
