Seriously!! I went to the grocery store on my lunch break and there are some small lakes out there for sure!

good luck with the sale of your truck. Like I said before, that will still be your truck in my thoughts. Anyway, the truck you are looking at could certainly have some personality to it. Hope all works out!

Just thought I'd share with you guys the newest Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tire. My manager wanted me to find some tires for our new plow truck that are aggressive compared to the stock Continental touring tires that the truck came with stock. We decided on these tires for obvious reasons. I am really loving the looks of these tires. They seem to be the perfect blend of a mud-terrain and and all-terrain. Not as aggressive as a mud tire but definetly more aggressive than an all-terrain. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm kind've thinking these might be the tires that go on the F-250 if I end up getting it.

Didn't want to wash the blue off for the work truck?

Well, looks like this is my last week with the F150. Would've been gone completely on Saturday but the bank wouldn't accept the guys insurance check. Have to hold it for 2 days to make sure it clears before they will give him his money. So he gave me a $500 cashier's check just to show me he is serious. So next weekend it will be gone for good. I told him about our forums - he said he'd check it out sometime. I'll have to get his email so I can send him the link to this thread. Will probably miss it - but at the same time I'm ready for something else. Looks like Sunday will be the road-trip to Iowa to get the 250.

Crap - that means I'm going to need a new signature......

Congrats! I was secretly hoping you were going to decide to part it out so I could buy your lift and tires!!

Where is your truck going to end up?

The one guy is just waiting for his insurance check since he totalled his 2002 f150 and really, really likes mine. But with that said - at least I have decided not to go to a car. I have my eyes on a nice clean F250 but with my luck it will be sold by the time I get my truck sold. I'll keep you guys updated - it will sure suck though not being able to be part of the local 'group' of F150's. Unless you will let a F-250 in.....

I've always loved these older bodystyles. First thing that would have to happen is different wheels and bigger tires for sure. Front end leveling kit. Probably a big grill guard of some sort. That's probably as far as I'd go this time around. Concentrate on a stereo system and some power upgrades. Absolutely love that it's a manual tranny.

What do you guys think? Am I still crazy???
Crazy to do this to it?

Saw a cool idea on a Ford Ranger that I had to share with you guys who enjoy biking. Maybe you guys have seen it before but I haven't. I already have plans for a toolbox on my next truck so I think this is what I'll be doing also. That way it is always mounted securely and ready to go at anytime.

I don't know. I guess it's up to us to keep us on the front page! Is the truck leaving this weekend?

Yep. Truck is leaving. It's been fully paid for at this time. He will assume delivery tomorrow or sunday depending on his work schedule. I'm headed up to Correctionville, IA tomorrow around noon to go look at that F250 and see if it's going to work for me. Am excited for that part. The round-trip 6 hours of driving though....not so much. Guess I might be driving my new-to-me truck though - so that won't be so bad.

Is the F250 at a dealer, or a craigslist find?

Both actually! Found it on craigslist first but it is actually a small corner-lot private dealer.
