I got the hood for a little over 100 dollars from a guy in mass. It is not a cervinis bud. I have a cervinis on my 01. Nothing like it.

This topic has been beaten to death, lets wait for some answers, or just put it to rest.

You are supposed to know because the truck did not have them on when you bought it.

Well, Missing "N," let's look at the alternative explanations:

1. A Ford dealer, at its own expense, and with no real hope of economic gain, purchased two tailgate emblems, trimmed off the mounting pins, and then inartistically applied them too close to the factory emblems and crooked.

1.a. A Ford dealer employee was really bored, at his own expense, and with no possibility of reimbursement, purchased two tailgate emblems, trimmed off the mounting pins, and then inartistically applied them too close to the factory emblems and crooked.

1.b. A Ford hater, at his own expense, and with no possibility of reimbursement, purchased two tailgate emblems, trimmed off the mounting pins, and then broke into the dealership and inartistically applied them too close to the factory emblems and crooked.

2. You, an educationally challenged guy with demonstrably questionable taste, performed the operation as described above, then tried to blame the dealer (which no one bought then either), and then, with just the slightest amount of negative peer feedback, yanked them right back off.

Sorry, but I gotta go with #2.

I might say #2 as well. I recall the truck in the paper and driving by it in person when it was at the dealer. I don't remember the badges. I think I would have noticed, having an eye for those things. I could be wrong.

I hate to add to this mess but a spokesman for the shop that lowered it claims you only got billed 13hrs.

Man I can sleep easy knowing I am not the only one raising the BS flag on this sorry bag of hot air.

Tim, Just so you know this sort of thing happens quite often in the great state of Connecticut, but is more prevalent with Toyota corolla owners putting VTEC badges on their "whips"

LOL

The day you do something NEW, UNIQUE, or DIFFERENT to an L that is when you post up.......and we still prolly wont give a squirt because you are such a self concious, overcompensating tool......
