Timmy, whoever owned the truck before I did must have put the badges on it. Not the dealer you dumb a$$. I just purchased it from the dealer. Wow ever think of that kid.

I'd come up with a snappy response, but I'm too dumb. So I guess I'll just have to use Agent00GT's: "I recall the truck in the paper and driving by it in person when it was at the dealer. I don't remember the badges."

And then add the fact that your extra badges were so hideously tasteless that any dealer would have peeled them off a trade-in before the hood was cool. It's like trying to sell a car with 5 pounds of pelican crap on the windshield -- it can be done, but why not just clean off the sh*t?

I am 100% on this however. It is funny. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt but I think you dug your own grave here. Your responses do not sway my thoughts what so ever. I've known my source for a long time and they are not just acquatance. For the record they are oblivious to this thread and I don't want this to hinder you from using thier services again.

 

Agent--- You have no clue buddy. I never said it took them 38 hours to do it. Total time spent on this lowering was 38 hours. They had about 26-28 on it and he only charged me for 20. Then another shop had about a day on it trying to get the thing aligned becuase the front right tire was at about 2 oclock and the front left was at 11 oclock. Then rolling the fenders at another place, etc..... So dont go starting ***** agent.... I never said anything bad about the first place that did most of the work. I think they did a great job and a fair priced one at that. Hope to see you on the PIKE soon Agent00, Ill be keeping my eyes out now.

its funny how you only brought up the other shop once someone who was actually in the know came and made a post, after 6 pages of post and 16 days after your original post. Why does the story change. And just to add to your ridiculous number of hours. So now you are saying it took them 10+ hours for an alignment?? I call BS on that too. There is no way in the world that your truck was more mis aligned then mine. They got my truck up on the rack and they said how the F did you not kill yourself driving here, mine was at 10 oclock and 2. and my control arms i forgot to tighten, i did not adjust anything just bolted it up and drove to the shop, fighting the steering wheel the entire way. I was in and out in under 2 hours. Not like you have a 4 link, they only need to align the front.
Guy you are on the internet, who gives a rats azz what we all think about you. It seems that you are just digging your grave deeper trying to change your story to something we like. We could give a rats azz that you got worked over if you don't care, like most of us have asked, we only care about the technical aspects of your drop, we are all here for the pursuit of better performance.

Here is you original post, does not imply at all that 2 shops did the work, seems to me from this one shop did it and it took 38 hours.
The place did a custom kit. They do all custom hotrods/chopped cars etc... They did do the cnotch. They Bolted it in and then welded it also. They had to notch something in the front and weld some brackets in also. I drove it home from the place and it actaully rode real smooth. Everything is still stiff so......38 hrs labor.

Then you post this, so you are saying that it was a total of $1600, u used 2 shops, and both shops just happen to charge the same labor rate????
Ok buddy, I payed under 1600$$$ for the entire job. 41 dollars an hour. I am going to look for the invoice and post it for all you haters to see. It must be in one of the garages. I could not find it tonight. Man you guys really like bashing. Well not all you, some posted some positive feedback. Any other problems with one of my L's??????

Now since you are filling this board with more and more BS I changed my mind. I originally said we don't want to see the invoice. So once your done photoshopping the invoice to read 38hours, please post it up.

Not that I give a rats *** either way, but technically, there are at least a dozen leghumpers in this thread, (myself included) who said his truck looks good. My truck is stock, but hey to each his own.
