hahahaahaaaaaa.....you're playing with fire dude. My 11.58 was my stock block and I have plenty of time slips to back it up. I also won Truckin Nationals Sportsman Class with that stock block set up. And I was #1 qualifier at FFW in Tough Truck at 11.29 and ran a best of 11.11 at a DA of 2586'. Ask Jim about it, he was there. I had the truck detuned to run safe for the weekend beings it was it's first trip out of the box. But that doesn't really matter now does it? What matters is you running your pie hole like normal. Let me tell you something there sport, I've got chunks of guys like you in my stool. I'd gladly like to run in to your dumb azz some time. And BTW....if I could buy you for what you're worth, and sold you for what you think you're worth, you could afford to buy some mods for that truck of yours and get a decent time slip out of it. I mean after all, it's a lot easier getting a low e.t. when you run at -DA numbers in Jersey.
Now I'm truly done with you. Post what you will......I don't give a ****. People like you are a dime a dozen....doesn't buy many mods does it?

Bingo!! bench racing is fun and sometimes entertaining and all but, at the end of the day "pony up" and prove Jim wrong, once again the bar has been set on a street driven L its 9.7 @ 138. Happy Thanksgiving guys best of luck.

Yup, you're right. I let this guy get to me and I shoudn't of. I'm not normally like that and I owe you and the others an apology for posting that. I got wrapped up in trying to defend and set the record straight and should of left it at that, but I didn't. Again, my apologies. There's no sense in stooping to that level. My points were valid, that's where I should of stopped.

re Adams KB GT

Jim@JDM...Regarding the claimed 700 hp KB car you beat by 3 tenths.I have never taken anything away from your car,or I mean customers car.It does run good, but come on now.I am on my 600 hp tune,NOT 700,and my car is not way lighter than yours.Your CUSTOMERS Saleen has cams, ported heads, stroker engine, headers, gears, and suspension, your suppossed bad *** fuel system upgrade, and sponsored with empty pockets, and all you can run is a 10.20?Im really not that impressed. My GT ,which I own,is modded as follows: forged internals in a IRON short block stock compression ratio, Kenne Bell 2.6h blower kit,Metco upper and lower control arms,BMR K-memeber,60lb injectors, tuned with Diablo by me,built on a budget and runs 10.50 flat. Also remeber I drove my car to the track ,and drove it home.Thats right..stock heads, stock cams, stock manifolds, stock gears, all factory interior, etc. Now thats impressive!Do you even have a Mustang of your own that will even make it down the track. As for the weight..V-8 gt curb weight 3500 lbs(no specs for ugraded premium interior, which I have),Saleen curb weight with Saleen twin screw 3550 right off Saleens website. So we can argue over whos blower is heavier or cage is heavier, but bottom line is we are the same weight +/- a few lbs.Bottom line is you Jim SR were in my shop the day before the race at Cal Speedway, and you know the car wasnt ready.I was there running the car not dialed in and your car completely honed in could only run a 10.27 to my 10.51?Not too much to brag about in my opinion.Im now adding cams, ported heads, headers, upgraded fuel system, and suspension.Ill be in the 9's for sure with my daily driver with 281 cubic inches, but you have maxed out your setup.Might want to look into a Kenne Bell cause your maxed out Saleen wont compare.Im the new shop in town, only in buisness for 2.5 years, you being the FORD POWER SPECIALIST for eternity, and Im running you down.My KB powered GT's reign has only begun. Not to get off topic, but come on with the lightning hype...Johnny Lightning hit the 9s' 3 yrs ago with his personal truck.I say build your own cars and trucks that are registered in your name using your money to claim fame.

woo hoo! 4th of July fireworks on Thanksgiving! To the KB bashers: So what if a few locked up? They are taking care of the problem. It's not that much different than when the Whipples were eating themselves. Both blowers have had problems, and both companies fixed or are fixing the problems. I've never bought anything from JDM but I have to say thier street trim trucks are impressive. Equally impressive to me though are JL's 8 second timeslips...

Adam,

It was my 10.21 to your 10.51.The Saleen car with me in it weights just over 4000 and the car has factory cams.
I could keep going on and on with the bull****.
If you think my 2.3 supercharger is all done, take my offer on the heads up race. Both you and Jim Bell brag about all these big horsepower numbers, but you never make it down the track with the ET's to match you HP numbers.
I will race with the same supercharger I always race with and you can use your 2.6 , 2.8, or 12.9 whatever you choose.
Just like I told Jim, put your money where your mouth is and lets race.

We have no race only trucks. They are all street trucks. Johnny did go in the 9's a year and a half ago and I gave him credit for that.
You have proved nothing and you have allot to learn. Race me or don't talk to me no more.

See theres these things called CUSTOMERS which Jim deals with on a regular basis... You know.. they pay money and Jim gets their trucks into the 9's...

Im pretty sure there are a lot of people that would love to see Jim build up his truck.. but theres only so many hours in a day...

EDIT:

GO RACE!!!!!!!!!!

To all,

My three weeks between California and Arizona I learned allot about the west coast shops, and the west coast Lightning community.
Donta has a great love and passion for the Lightning and it shows in the trucks he builds.
Not only are they fast, but his customers are very happy with his work and tuning. I give him two thumps up.
The reason why I bring this up, is because of the Tough Truck Class. I was inpressed with the truck count at the California event and the Arizona event.
The California event was good because of Donta and his customers.

The Arizona Lightning club showed up in big numbers. They are a great bunch of guys. They are one of the reasons I spend that much money each year on a full sponsorship. I did not go to the Arizona event the first couple of years and these guys ran the Tough Truck Class like Champions. I am proud I met them.

I have a big passion for these trucks. Over the past six years, I have spent enough money sponsoring Lightning events and taking the chances to change the rules in the Tough Truck Class to lean torward the street driven Lightning to give everyone a chance to win.
With the money put into these events I could of built two, two hundrad thousand dollar Lightnings. Instead I give back to the people that have the same passion I do.

Dyno numbers are for bragging rights. In the last couple of months KB and Adam have posted big dyno numbers. Adam has posted his 700HP which he now is only saying it is 600HP. KB has told the customer 730 HP on a
07 Shelby Cobra , that has run the only best of 11.20 to date. There are cars out there running faster with stock blowers.
Maybe he should build his own Mustang and truck and run in all of our events to really show the world what he is capable of instead of one hit wonders.
JDM builds their customers to be the fastest reliable and win championships.

Adam and Jim Bell,
This can go on or you can race me.

Rich,
The Arizona guys, give them a brake. This is between me and Jim and now Adam.
