Blower vs Blower is one thing, but how can you compare a 650rwhp truck with a whipple or a KB to an 700 or 800rwhp truck with a whipple or a KB. The motor still has to play into it, some of the motors are stage II cams some are stage III cams etc...........Even if the weight is even.

This is not F1
Blower v Blower Tuner v Tuner
You put up the best you gotta offer
If the motor makes more power - truck wins
Winner takes all - NO 2nd place
HOSTILE,you are not speaking the truth, CARDEALER is telling the truth. Why insult him? It is you who is lying.
Again, out of all the 2.8,2.6 and 2.1 Big Bore superchargers there have been only 3 returned to us - all 2.6's on Lightnings with comprised lines to the bypass valves. We warranteed all 3 even though it wasn't the fault of the supercharger. The 2 trucks belonged to David Beasley(2 failures) and CARDEALER(1 failure). You state that you "know 3 besides CARDEALER". That's 4 owners - not true. Again, only 2 out of hundreds. If you have the names go ahead and post them and we'll check the records. I own Kenne Bell and personally check ALL warranties, and I don't lie. Also we don't hide anything from our customers. When Tim Skelton asked about the number of failures on the 2.3 and why, we promptly disclosed all the information. You seem to want to fabricate and fantasize about a problem that doesn't exist.
Thank you,
Jim Bell

You belittle the first time out 1/4 mile 3800 RPM times of Earl's '07 Shelby and then use those times to discredit Kenne Bell and our 730 HP claim. You even say stock Shelby's go faster, nice Earl loved that little chop. Then you go on to boast about your(customer's) cars that you drive at all the races implying that "drag strip testing is the only real proof of a car's HP and that goes to show your Kenne Bell HP numbers don't mean a thing" Only Jim D' Amore. We all got a hugh laugh out of all that twisted analogy.
Jim, Earl is also a customer of yours? True? Earl told you at the race that his car was jumping into the "fail safe" mode so engine rpm was limited to 3800 in the gears. And even though it make 730 HP on the Kenne Bell dyno, it was at a severe handicap with 3800 rpm. You knew this. Isn't that true? Perhaps Earl is lying? You saw Kenne Bell tuner, Ken Christley and Earl trying to solve the problem which everyone knew existed. Yet you conveniently and maliciously fail to mention the problem in your post. Why? Did you use Earl's problem to bash Kenne Bell? Bet you thought we wouldn't respond. Yes, Earl's car ran great on the dyno but under load at the track we discovered it was limited to 3800RPM. I guess a 11.17 isn't too bad for a 730 HP car that only turns 3800 in the gears? What do you think? Well the car now pumps out 810 RWHP? I'm sure you'll say Kenne Bell's 810 RWHP means nothing and that "Kenne Bell supercharged cars make good dyno HP but don't go fast at the drags". I think we have some customers that would disagree with that. When we get this tuning issue worked out, Earl will run it at the strip and he can't wait to race your Shelby. In the meantime, thanks from all of us for the truthful, heads up, typical analysis and post we have all learned to expect from you. I know Earl especially appreciated your omissions and the spin job. He should have used one of your standby excuses - "My customers car was 400 lbs heavier". "I only used a 40 HP shot". But that's what Earl gets for being the only '07 Shelby at one of "your events" and trying to solve a tuning issue at the Dragstrip with you in attendance. And you're a Sponsor for this race? Good Image stuff.
Thanks for your clever interpretation of our supercharger HP vs. drag strip times on Earl's car but I think our superchargers performance can be evaluated more honestly by someone other than you.
Best of luck with whatever manufacturers product you happen to be promoting this month.
Sorry, I didn't realize that Jim D'Amore built cars were the only fast vehicles on the planet and that any fast Kenne Bell equipped cars were "one of a kind". Our customers will be happy to hear this. Put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is tell us if you plan on racing YOUR car - if you have one - or a customers. Don't spin away on me. Let's get and again some money up on that rediculous post of yours where you say " We have done back to back test from KB 2.4's to Whipple 2.3's and there's about a 70 HP gain on the Whipple", That's hilarious. Show us the tests. Typical JDM B.S. You may go unchallenged with many of your claims but, as I said before, you can expect Kenne Bell to respond to all of your B.S. from now on. We are very sensitive about any remarks that question the credibilty of published Kenne Bell dyno tests. Kenne Bell spends considerable time and resources to furnish our customers with accurate factual dyno tests and technical information about our products. We're not afraid to publish them. Part of our service philosophy is to help our customers make good intelligent decisions BEFORE buying product. There our over 200 dyno test on our website. On the JDM site I found one(1) STD dyno test on a Saleen kit but there was no before test nor was there any info on boost or other mods. One dyno test and you're quoting all those comparison dyno test. Where are your "one of a kind" dyno tests?
Regards,
Jim Bell
KBELL,
This will go on and on, back and forth with lots of finger pointing. The only people that know the truth of the events you speak about are the ones that were actually there....
If Jim is slinging all this BS... then race him and prove all his lies...

talk is just that,,,talk
jim says he is coming out to race the fastest kb 2.6 trucks,,,he is gona back it up. lets see what he has? dante and his road warriors are no slugs,,,,it will be a fair fight
wow
a good ol fashion knock down, drag out donnybrook!!! Been a while!!!!
Anyhow...........
Last time i was at JDM, Jim had the 04 locked in a storage container and wouldn't let us see it yet!!! Show some more pics!!!
My question is this........you can say what you want about Jim, but whenever a challenge has been issued, he don't back down. In fact i think he's pulled more cards on people , and put up challenges that people never took him up on.
What happened about 2 years ago. The JDM vs JLP 10 page thread. The challenges were issued and no race occured. One guy suggested that they go on PINKS.
You know what, that show sucks but i watch it every week.
I'd love to see a lightning vs lightning pinks episode.
Let's call that guy Rich and get it rolling. Lord knows we've seen enough fox bodies to last a lifetime.
Let's do it up. See who really has more confidence. See who will put 50k + on the line.

for all the good **** jdm does for the lightning community
, he sure has one of the poorest reputations with someone who makes a pretty big impact in the lightning and ford community. how about for that race you drive one of your 10 second shpeals down to california, race, and drive back. lets see if those jdm machines are all theyre claimed to be.

hahaha
well, not for nothing, at FFW in NH last year, Jim was running Jeff's truck with the Aluminum motor.......i belive for the first time. One of his customer's trucks broke. He put the street tires on the White truck and drove it back to jersey and put his customer's truck in the trailor. Granted , a 6 hour ride isn't cross country but .......it is what it is.
For what it's worth, I contacted PINKS just to see what their interested would be in having a show with some 9 second daily driven Lightnings from some of the Top Dogs in the Community. Granted, i wouldnt' put my measely lightning up for grabs, but if some of these guys are so sure..........make us belives. Put your trucks where your mouths are!!!!

I'm no Tim Skelton, but I'm Aaron Lord, and I want to know how many 2.3's failed also.
I sure aint no Big Dog nor do I have any #'s to brag about (yet)
But there are a few things here that I'm sorry I just have to comment on:
#1 Jim is an amazing tuner/builder and he builds some of the Worlds Fastest L's
#2 (AND THIS IS THE KICKER) up to how many weeks ago ???
"EACH AND EVERY ONE OF JDM's TOP L's RUN A KENNE BELL SC"
We're talking 100% of them "were"
Yes over the last 10-20 weeks or so a lot of them are now Whipple and the #'s are amazing and yes they have the ET's to back them up
And yes they are better in most cases by a few 10th's BUT I believe the comparison should be with the new KB 2.6, otherwise I see nothing to compare or argue about ??? The Whipple and 2.6 KB are equal in price and thats where the comparison needs be, the Whipple and 2.3 are not, the 2.3 is @1K less (even 1200.00 less in some cases). This is like the old days when we compared Mag Vs KB, simply not fair.....
Jim truly is one of the Best ET Tuners out there and I dont know if anyone on the planet has a better "Kill Tune" than he does for a Built Lightning. Hell I'd love to see a Tuner Shoot Out
but there could "NEVER" be any race or contest that would be fair UNLESS they were both "IDENTICAL" trucks and both tuned by the same tuner.
OR you go to a track with a portable dyno and run the same truck with the same pully combo with the same timing and AF and then swap SC's and re-dyno and use the same timing and AF and same truck and re-run it.
"very do-able" (tuned by the same person of course).
#3 I bought a KB 2.6L Big Bore Kit and hopefully will have it on my truck and running this weekend
If there is one thing all of you know about me it's that "if" I have any issues, YOU'LL HEAR ABOUT THEM, BUT I EXPECT NONE.
Jim Bell I am so very excited about this purchase that I can not tell you, and I look foward to proving this new 2.6 IS GOING TO ROCK!!!
(hey maybe now you'll build me that kb for my srt8 jeep, I'm the one thats been talking to you off line about it) hehehehehe......
