But there are a few things here that I'm sorry I just have to comment on:

#1 Jim is an amazing tuner/builder and he builds some of the Worlds Fastest L's

#2 (AND THIS IS THE KICKER) up to how many weeks ago ???
"EACH AND EVERY ONE OF JDM's TOP L's RUN A KENNE BELL SC"
We're talking 100% of them "were"

Yes over the last 10-20 weeks or so a lot of them are now Whipple and the #'s are amazing and yes they have the ET's to back them up
And yes they are better in most cases by a few 10th's BUT I believe the comparison should be with the new KB 2.6, otherwise I see nothing to compare or argue about ??? The Whipple and 2.6 KB are equal in price and thats where the comparison needs be, the Whipple and 2.3 are not, the 2.3 is @1K less (even 1200.00 less in some cases). This is like the old days when we compared Mag Vs KB, simply not fair.....

Jim truly is one of the Best ET Tuners out there and I dont know if anyone on the planet has a better "Kill Tune" than he does for a Built Lightning. Hell I'd love to see a Tuner Shoot Out but there could "NEVER" be any race or contest that would be fair UNLESS they were both "IDENTICAL" trucks and both tuned by the same tuner.

OR you go to a track with a portable dyno and run the same truck with the same pully combo with the same timing and AF and then swap SC's and re-dyno and use the same timing and AF and same truck and re-run it.
"very do-able" (tuned by the same person of course).

#3 I bought a KB 2.6L Big Bore Kit and hopefully will have it on my truck and running this weekend If there is one thing all of you know about me it's that "if" I have any issues, YOU'LL HEAR ABOUT THEM, BUT I EXPECT NONE.

Jim Bell I am so very excited about this purchase that I can not tell you, and I look foward to proving this new 2.6 IS GOING TO ROCK!!!

(hey maybe now you'll build me that kb for my srt8 jeep, I'm the one thats been talking to you off line about it) hehehehehe......

Hahaha....I had visions of a little puppy dog licking the hand of his new owner, then biting him!

My "10 second shpeal" was driven from CT to FL by it's new owner. Was told the truck ran perfect and still does run perfect........

Dont even go there V, we've been friends too long for you to even say that,
dont let people put words in your mouth please. Jim Bell will make SRT SC's when the industry learns to work around the stupid Dodge Electronics, and they will in time. Nothing I can say will change that, we've talked about it in e-mails and thats always been his answer.

The point I was making you are a perfect example of. Up to recently you have ALWAYS ran KB along with the other JDM Top Dogs (which most still run)
And now ALL OF A SUDDEN all the former KB Lovers are talking schitt about the KB's. You cant believe how many friends of mine have called or e-mailed me since yesterday to tell me I MADE A MISTAKE, this coming from the same people that have been running KB's and setting records for years.

I made NO MISTAKE, this Big Bore KB will allow me to run my easy 11's (which is all I want) and run the 10's when I want, and "if" I decide to push it run better than that. I just find it real funny seeing people argue when up to very very recent every top truck in the world is (or was) running KB's.

Rob,

Why didn't you just buy a KB 2.3? Sounds to me that the 2.6 is overkill for what you want.

Oh Rob how true it is. How sad it is as well. NO ****ING LOYALTY!!! Do you want to be a leader or just do what you are told>???
I don't think you made a mistake Rob, I look forward to seeing how the truck turns out for you. -Mat-

I have never said a bad word about my KB. I liked my KB (even though it did have problems on the first one..KB did warranty though..no questions asked).

I would still be running a KB if the Whipple didnot come out.

I was in the rare case of having a Borrowed Whipple early (Thanks Will) and was able to turn it up. IMO (Which I have said in other posts..don't mean anything) the Whipple outperformed the KB 2.3. I have no idea about the 2.6 and I think again IMO that there are WAY TOO MANY VARIABLES to make this Feb. thing work..But what do I know.
There is going to be more excuses out of this one day then all the posts ever made.

The best part of all this is that companies are taking the time and money to keep making S/C's for a truck that is not even made anymore. I commend all of them for that.
