I do apologize, lighting owners, i was a liitle steamed at the tme that i wrote my message, i hate fords but i guess i respect it, for such a large truck, it does move, but that doesnt make R/Ts a bad truck or a slow truck, we still can kill mustang gts and with a few good mods keeps up with z28s, no harm done to anyone, we all love our trucks and we all have our preferences..

I was going to post my honest opinions on things here with no flames and in a civil manner, however, what do I come to see? Childish things like name calling (Stewart twins, Crackers) and "Your Momma Jokes" (4D). Still though, I will not flame anyone, just pointing out the obvious that I was being flamed when I had never even posted here before....
Oh, and as for you thinking that the rest of the "R/T Community" is so great and civil, how about I show you some messages from the RTML, not posted by my brother or I, that make my brothers posts here seem tame. Here are the so-called respectful R/T owners REAL feelings and posts about this when it is on their restricted list and you can't see it:

they bash us. Almsot every message is 'those wannabe performance trucks who
cant break 115." Hmmmm, if our truck came with a supercharger, I bet they
wouldn't be saying that. The R/T owners are a much more classy group than the
small (fill in the blank, but it rhymes with venus) lightning drivers.

all the extra money they spent on such a big and ugly truck to be so
emasculated by beating a regularly asperated truck that cost $15k
less...Personally give me my R/T and the extra 15 grand a lightning would
cost and you could give any lightning quite a lesson in power to weight
ratio...

"Ford owners and there silly stories... I was behind this lighning
one time... I knew he wanted a piece of me... At the lights he
lit'em up real good and took off... I caught him at the next set of
lights and was behind him and thought I would show him the real power
of my RT... The lights turned green and I hammered it... He Hammered
as well it and there was smoke everywhere... He got a slight jump on
me but then I hit the NOS button jumped on him real bad... Heres the

poor guy... and how many people race to 125... if I get beat
anywhere around that speed im sitting back waiting for the lights to
turn on and the cops to come take away your car... but im sure the RT
vs Lightning thing has been tossed around so many times... Im just
throwing my .02 in...

Well guys, that is just a small sampling of it. THIS is the kin of people really that you are praising for being "respectful" R/T owners. Sure they can come over here nad claim they respect it all they want, but if you have access to their restricted list, you'll see they're just making fun of you and playing with you.... This is not a flame to anyone, I just thought that the RTML members who came over here were tossing a lotta BS around and you guys were buying it.....

Hope to see you and your buds out there before the snow starts to fly. FYI, I've got a red L with a "BadBolt" plate. Love to get some friendly competition going.

R/T SC: Nice hearing from you. In case it hasn't already been posted on your board, there's going to be a large truck event at Norwalk on Sept. 9th & 10th. I believe there are separate events for each major manufacturer plus some overall classes. A good chance to meet other truck owners and 'check out' the competition. I know a lot of Bolt owners from our neck of the woods are going to attend, plus many from others parts of the woods. Friday is T&T. Like BadBolt, I have a red Bolt, only the license plate reads GETZAPT. Maybe we'll see you there.
