Just thought I should let you know, there are 2 Dakota R/Ts up here for $42,000. They have been Kenne Belled. I think I will go there tommorrow and dare them to take it to the track. I am getting sick of this.

Sounds like Killer bees, in which case they are overpriced by about 14k, considering MSRP is 28k. Also, the KB is the WORST SC you can get for the RT (and coincidentally, the Thunderbird too). If those trucks make it to the end of the track without pinging, it'd be amazing. On the otherhand a powerdyne or vortech will be more than enough to take on a Lightning for thousands less. I'm tired of the L owners crap too.

You're tired of this crap? Try re-reading the BS you have been posting. I have a suggestion for you, r/t fan with a t-bird, why not go to the r/t board, where your fellow r/t boys WILL Believe the crap that you talk. P.S. Does your mom know you are using her computer?

OK,guys... I caught wind of this thread and must intervene. It appears that some "children" are giving the "R/T" owners a bad rap again.
All R/T owners are not punks by any means. We have a national club and have many very dedicated adults involved in it. We are just another breed as you guys are. BUT, we ALL share something in common, and that is the love of accelleration.
I own a 2000 Club Cab Dakota R/T. While I would agree with you guys that stock for stock, the L will rip on an R/T in the 1/4. But with a few mods makes it very competitive. I personally run 13's with my R/T, and drive it daily. Each vehicle has its pro's and con's, but ultimately its "to each his own". I live in Michigan and see that there are some L owners that are local to me. I would welcome a "Friendly" L vs. R/T day at Milan dragway for whomever is interested. Again, this is a friendly challenge for fun. I know of about 5 other R/T cronies that would love to join in on the fun.

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the sincere welcome. I honestly dont typically post to brand x boards, but as I mentioned, this one was necessary.

I just learned of the event at Norwalk today. Sounds like fun! Even if that one doesnt pan out for everyone, we should still get together even if it is just to shoot the poop. There is a weekly Tuesday car show that us local R/Ts go to. Let me run it past them to see if there are no objections to you guys joining in on the fun. I think it would be great exposure for the "performance" truck segment. Stay tuned :~)

its too bad that the only way that you simpletons can beat the much better looking DAKOTA R/T, is to strap a blower onto it..you trucks may be a little fast, i'll admit but that cant replace the hideous, abousolutely terrible look of that ugly F-1sh*tty aka F-150, sounds to me like you guys are a liitle insecure about your overpriced waste of recycled pop cans..ive seen many R/T's with just a supercharger spank lightings with a couple of mods, i'm just here to bring reality here folks, for the money you spent on your trucks, you could got the beefy looking R/T and spent the extra $10,000 or so to start modding it up, thats what us smart R/T guys do..well it was nice chatting..hope your Ferds dont brake down, know a lot of people with F-150s that have blown cylinders..

Witnessed one Powerdyne'd R/T at the track. The guy was really nice, and the setup was very clean on his truck. We were just talking waiting for the track to open.

He bolted on some ET Streets and ran....

14.1/100mph.

Maybe something was wrong with it, I don't know. But, don't they run low-15s stock? If so, getting a full second out of a simple 8psi blower is good. BUT, you're not going to get any more than that without a LOT of mods. Been around this stuff WA 2 long to know better. Go ahead and try to spin the blower harder...you'll find out what 90% of the Mustang owners with those crappy blowers have...you overspin it, you blow it up. Please buy a Vortech or a Paxton NOVI (no, I don't work for either of them).

Whatever you drive...to each his own. Why do you guys have to come over here and bash stuff? This thread started with one guy saying he beat a new R/T. I'm sure you guys have "kill" posts on your board. Why get your panties in a wad?

Looks like the Stewart boys are up to their same old tricks......logging in as multiple users, talking the same old trash, and saying nothing of importance. Exactly why they got bounced off the R/T list.

My apologies to the L community. They are NOT an example of most R/T owners.

RT SC, WE NEVER posted under a different name while we were on the RT list. THAT IS FACT. You are being immature, acting like a ****, expected of course. We got booted BECAUSE I had a different opinion from the rest of the group on one subject. WHoopie. if your going to lie, at least make it believable. As for beating the L to 40, after a little research I found out stiock to stock there is only a .3 difference to 40 between the trucks. Pretty easy to make up if you are the better driver.
