Thumbs up

I'm sure it's also powered by electricity. Just the thing I like to see .

Well it still does not run, I left the battery disconnected all night on it and the dash is still lit up like a christmas tree. The fuel pump reset I believe is fine, it looked like a pop up switch, and it was not popped up.

I have heard of the chips corrupting the PCM's programing. If that happend you'll need to have it reflashed. Have you called Mike T.? He may be able to help. Would it be possible to install the board in the PCM upside down? Good luck.

The chip looks like it can be plugged in either way, but will only fit the right way, while the computer is mounted. It would only look right one way also

How much gas did you have when you parked the truck? Just/Kidding

Assuming common sense such as gas in the tank, Shifter in Park, etc.

I heard that you should disconnect the battery and then turn on the headlights to drain the rest of the power out of the truck. Then reconnect it and try again.

Also try your spare key to see if the key is the problem.

Does sound like a fuel issue since the motor cranks. There have been problems with fuel pump connector breaking and not giving any fuel pressure.

If all else fails call your dealership and tell them your truck won't start.

Fuel tank is 3/4 full. The fuel reset switch is not tripped. There is no gas or leaking fluids anywheres. No bent pins no nothing. But what I did find was a weird clicking noise when I connected the negative terminal on the battery. It happened every time I did it. I traced it to the fuse box under the hood by the air cleaner, where I found a 15 amp fuse was blown. I am praying that this is the problem as everything else seems to be in working order. Would? Could? this be the problem? Someone please say yes..... I would like to think you all for your help and patience. I will try the fuse when I get off of work...cough cough feeling a little sick, I can't stand for my baby to be broken.

Unhappy

That did not work either. The fuse did restart the fuel pump, I believe. But the theft light is still flashing, and no start. engine just cranks and cranks.

Mine did the same thing....and it was that PCM harness. Here is exactly what i did.

Installed the chip,tightened harness
Try to turn engine over, nothing happens

Tighten PCM harness...try to turn engine over again....engine cranks and cranks never turns over.

removed chip, tightned harness more ,try to turn the engine over.truck starts.

turn truck off, remove neg battery terminal, replace chip

attempt to start truck again w/chip
PRESTO!!!!
It starts.
It took me a little while to get it,but i finally got it going.I was sweating bullets when i couldnt get mine started.

Ive cranked the harness untill I thought it would strip. It was very very tight. I don't think It would get tighter. Oh well I will try again.

Talking

I sounds as though you have a problem with the "Passive Anti-Theft" ignition key thing. They can get corrupt and when you crank the engine over, it won't start (just like being out of gas).
