Cool

Hehe. I'm working 2 units, one puts out about 235MW's, the other about 170MW's. At 1,340HP a MW thats over 500,000HP on the turbine shafts when you combine the two. Definately twist the axles on a Volkswagen. BTW, a 1500 ton press is nothing to sneeze at. Definately a floor shaker when that bad boy stamps I'll bet.

Wow. This is growing and growing fast. I checked everything once again. Everything is alright. How would I go about resetting the key? The engine will turn over but will not start. Like its not getting any gas.

it should be in the manual that came with the truck. if you cant find yours, ill go get mine and post it to ya.
maybe try turning the key to the on position and letting the fuel pump work for a few seconds before starting it...

Question

Would it turn over before? Also, did your gauges all peg when you first turned on the key?

I drove the truck home from work, saw the chip at the door, pulled into the driveway and went to work. Just once with the chip installed it fired up. I went to make sure it was secure and after that It would not work. Just out of the blue it fired up. NOthing before and nothing after (during chip install) I will try the key thing tomorrow. But would a bad key allow the ignition to unlock?

Isn't the fuel pump reset down near the PCM? You didn't trip that by accident maybe?

Fuel pump reset. I dunno. Never saw any switches or anything, My crossover is behind the kick panels there and have never noticed such a thing. But if the fuel pump is not working that could very well be it. But I am going to take a nap now. (been up since 5:30)

A-train: I used to work at a place that stamped wire mesh/wire cloth products and I was the setup guy for the presses. Mostly 15-20 ton units with our biggest being 486 tons. They were wicked little machines. I find it hard to imagine a 1500 ton unit. Helluva flywheel I would bet.

I'll give ya a call when I get up this afternoon Harvey to see how things are progressing. The fact that it has ran is encouraging.
