Your higher dyno #'s should be the STD ones. The SAE corrected are almost always the lower ones
hey guys....lets not hate on me, because I can do some of my own work... BIG DEAL, if its not just like APTEN's....I'm not apten...But like i said I do have a pic of an apten blower, so say all you will, but i didn't just dream up this idea. "Lose h.p" give me a break.. so i went a little bigger and placed the second hole a little higher, this is my way. I never said mine was better, worse, or the same. Somebody actually just stole my pic from another thread and started this one up. I can't give you any dyno testing...don't care too anyway. i don't have anything to prove, i'm an individual, not a company. my truck feels great, if i go to the track and run a slower time for some reason, i'll ****** it off and try it again.

The pic. that you have of an Apten must not be a Lightning Eaton because your duplication is different that what mine looks like
I think it's great that you did your own work on your blower..
I was just making a statement that hopefully you did not lose any HP. There are people out there that have by thinking they knew how to port an Eaton..I think they ceased porting pending more R&D...
i never said it wasn't critical. and i stole no pic, a friend sent me one. Anyway, i can tell by driving it, it picked up some power. Let's see an apten pic.
But anyways it's not the outlet that makes the power right, it's all the stuff you can't see from the upper or lower pics. thats what brain said anyhow. Well i guess you guys cant see all that "secret work" i did on the inside of mine either.

12leavu, Where in Alabama are you? I think it is great you do your own work. I think everyone should. Blank-check mechanics bother me sometimes (no offense to anyone).
I ported my own blower as well. My personal opinion is that most of the gains are in the intake and not the exit. Not just polishing it up but taking material away to allow more air to be compressed. A lot of people disagree on that but I've never got any answers or evidence to show the exhaust side helps that much.
What's my proof that the intake side is more important? 522RWHP corrected with no nitrous and hardly any work done to the exit side. Show me those numbers with just exit work done. That would make me a believer.
