Yup, I do. Here's my 99 SS. Sorry, don't have any pics of my L.

LS1s are nice but you'll need to consider the following:

Insurance rates
Visibility
Practicality
Quality

I did post earlier that it was never able to keep up with the lightning. Of course i did have the Lightning with more mods, but for a car i expected more. I don't have it anymore, i traded it in for a Cobra, but overall it was a good car and boy did chicks dig it, i got compliments everywhere i went, the Arelli 18's had something to do with that too.

Yes, insurance is a bitch if you are a male under 25 years of age. Not sure what you're talking about when you say visibility. I've never had any visibility problems with mine. It's practical enough for someone without kids. And then there is quality. The LS1 itself is an excellent engine. Never had the first problem with that. That shell that is wrapped around it....well....it's pretty damn cheap. Mainly consists of cheap plastic that rattles like no other. The "leather" as they call it is complete crap. However, I bought the car for the LS1, not for the comfort.

Well, the visibility sucks compared to a truck. Just saying he'll have to adjust.

As far as practicality, you also have to take into account the lower ground clearance, less cargo space, etc. But if you're just looking for a sports car, who cares?

Yea the engine is top-notch. Better than our 5.4 imo. But the plastic finish is shoddy and it definitely has it's squeaks and rattles.

The stock LS1 aluminum block can handle gobs of power. It's pretty strong and I wouldn't worry about pushing its limits anytime soon.

Dunno about the internals (pistons, rods, etc.) though.

Inurance is high and visibilty is OK. But my LS1 has given no major problems ,and that with me racing/beating the crap out of it everytime I drive.

Funny...I raced 5 different SS Camaros and 1 brand new WS-6 when I had my 00 L and beat every single one every single time. Auto or 6 spd. They had minor things like exhaust. All I had was a chip and 2 lb lower at the time. The acceleration was pretty even except I would jump off the line about 1.5-2 lengths and they'd never catch up. Comparatively, LS1's with exhaust are not that much faster (if any) to a minor modded L. You would get beat without a chip (stock shifts) for sure, but not too badly.
