I value your opinion and think your testing will help in the longevity of the blowers for daily driving.

One reason you are ignored might be that they see this as a double edged sword cutting both ways. On one hand if you do a run and everything goes great their blower looks good. On the other hand if it fails they have a public relations nightmare.

The type of driving that you do with definitely show any weaknesses over drag racing and that might be what is scaring them away.

Just a thought.

 

I Not having a Lightning,,, none of you will care, but setting here watching all of you, is the best entertainment that I've seen in a while. Some offer great advise and know thier stuff. Some don't know what thier talking about, but think they do. As far as the tuners go, get organized, have great service, don't lie, be a person to the people, and if you would quite investing your time arguing over little kiddy toy's, you might actually profit much better. I bet thier is a lot of visitors to this site that have Lightnings and want to mod them, see all of what is going on, laugh, and call it a day.

 

Ruslow's testing and the parts on his Lightning are generally unknown to the public until proven.

2 companys that make a 2 good products each with its strenght and weakness have to take each other to court over who makes the better blower (call it advertising claims whatever, i think the real claim was one claimed in advertising that there blower made the most hp) if thats not "my blowers better than yours", i dont know what is. wonder how the vortech - ati thing got started?

lawyers - courts - and probalby more than one shoe box full of dyno and time slips and 4 years latter still no one is giving in so where do you think this thread is going?

All i know is that if i had a truck that ran 10.5 and i honestly thought i could bolt on a 50 shot and run 9's I would be installing it right this minute. lets face it 9's are around the corner, 8's are miles away so the first one to 9 gets to keep that crown along time.

Stan and Spike - as someone who drives his truck to the strip everytime, I would really like to know that info as well. Don't want the blower giving out on the way up or on the way back.

I think if some people would quit looking for which is going to produce more powe or the fastest et. they would agree with you also.

I still want a blower, but I'm gonna take my time saving up for it.
