Removing labels from visors

Thought I would start a new thread to see if anyone has done this successfully without screwing things up on their new truck.

if you pick at the corner they will peel off. It makes it look bad cause the fabric is all pulled out. I tried to do mine and stopped becuase the fabric was looking like ****. You could take them off and re wrap the whole visor.

Heat gun isn't going to help.

Don't know what MY your truck is, but my on my 2006 I used a hairdryer and heated them up, taking my time removing them. Did the same on my 2001 and on a 2007 Pontiac G6.

Quite a few threads on the site here where many have done this with a standard hairdryer without any damage to the cloth on the visor. I checked with the keywords Visor Sticker

Key : Take your TIME !!! Keep heat on it, and slowly peel back the sticker. If you let it get too cool which removing them, you will leave adhesive behind.

Once you heat the corner to get it up, keep the hairdryer blowing hot air at the sticky side as you work it.

Its been done before with success...Mine was already peeling so I took my time and peeled it out with no heat/hairdryer.

I peeled mine off on the four hour drive from Orange County to Las Vegas! Took almost the whole trip and a 45 min stop for an accident on the 15 to do it. I think the heat from the day helped. When I got back, I took some goo gone to the visor and took the residue off. Turned out alright, you can make out the shape of the label still, but overall I'm satisfied!
