97-98 vs 99-03 Front Seats

Hi everybody. Will buckets and a console from a 2000 model go into a 97 with a bench?

Thanks to everyone who answered a similar thread back in September about 1997 bench to 1997 buckets, but that deal fell through. I've found another set for sale, but don't want to purchase them if they won't bolt in.

Kevin

yes, just make sure the seat belts match, if yours are wall mounted, make sure you get seats without the shoulder belt mounted to the seat.

you might have to cut the carpet, and tap the holes, but they should be there under the carpet. I didnt actually run a tap into the holes, just ran a bolt in with an impact. The taper of the bolt tip will automatically cut threads as it goes in.

I got the new(er) seats in today. Besides everything being filthy under the old bench seat, it wasn't a difficult swap at all. I skipped the tap and just ran the bolts in. I don't know how to post pictures, but there's a few in my album. Thanks for all the advice, and if anybody needs a cloth bench seat from a 97 I've got one for sale.
