In my opinion, you owe this site and its sponsors the common courtesy of at least waiting to hear back from Performance Products. If you want to set a deadline of Monday evening, then fine, but don't set the deadline as Sunday morning, a day when most businesses are not even open, especially given that the contact information was not provided until late Thursday evening.

As I said, I provided them with Tical's contact information and you have to give them the opportunity to at least respond. If you are not willing to do that, I am not going to risk alienating our source of revenue that keeps this site free for your use and allow future group purchases.

You and everyone else involved in this group purchase are using the collective bargaining power of this free advertiser supported community of F150online.com to make this possible and you owe our sponsors the opportunity to be involved.

It probably should be noted as I don't want to mislead anyone or have them pay more than they have to. If our sponsor cannot or is not willing to offer the best deal, you obviously don't have to go with them.
My concern is rather logical. If performance products takes quite a few days to get back to us when we are trying to give them our money, how long will they take to get back to us once they already have it?

I understand that others are involved in this group pruchase, but my vote is to go with what we have right now.

Tical is gone for the weekend anyway. Regardless of whom we purchase from, we still have to wait until Monday or Tuesday to order.

Sounds fine to me, I can wait intil Mon or Tue....I'm all for buying from a sponsor....I've found a lot of great info on this site that I would have found anywhere else...
But I must say they have had time to respond, if you remember, Steve (Webmaster) sent a email twice to two differant people at Performance Products... The first was never answered.....

I think I saw that on an episode of Trucks. Isn't it a small dial you install on your dash somewhere and can change the dial between like 1-5? It was installed on a turbo diesel on the show(I think) and they showed the power level difference between the multiple levels and showed burnouts at each one.

That would be SICK to see. I wish I could view that episode.

It is not actually an Attitude Monitor...It just looks like one...The Evolution is Built into the Monitor and connects directly to your diagnostic port...It also connects directly to your computer through a USB cable....Once you have one you will notice it is wider than the Attitude for the Juice...Hope that helps

Tical one thing your email doesn't say is what type of shipping are they offering for that price?

I would prefer overnight and I'm willing to pay extra for it.

I'm out of the group buy if we are going to wait forever for the site sponsor to respond after they have been contacted more than once. Even if they are cheaper how long are they going to sit on their butts waiting to ship to us.

Guys, I'm back.
Here is the most updated list, unfortunately some are emailing me without their usernames and others are saying they are emailing me but they don't appear to go through. JackDob being one of them.
Post here if you are 100% so I can see your username and add it to the list.

As far as waiting for the official vendor goes, the Webmaster emailed me on the 15th at 15:20 (Thursday) saying that they were interested. Right now I'm waiting for them to contact me and I say Tuesday is long enough. If I don't hear from them by then I say we start the order on Wednesday. Sound fair to everyone? I love this site and am all for giving the official vendor an opportunity because I know how much they do for this site but there has to be a limit.
The company I'm with now has emailed back all of my questions within HOURS of my email to them. Even emailed me back 3 times in one day once because of all of the questions I had.

04NickySP2,
That price is ground shipping included. I'll email the person I'm working with and find out how much overnight will be.

I am out if we are waiting until Wednesday. I think we could order late tomorrow if we haven't heard from Performance Products by then. If they can't get back to us with a price within two days, then I will not send them my money. I hope no one is offended. We all have our way of doing business. I love this site. I love my money a little more.

Tical,

Im guessing then if you wait till tuesday there is little to no chance of getting this thing in time for Christmas? For myself its not really an issue at the moment since my truck is in the shop (for now...) . Just think it might put a dampner on some others plans. Tuesday seems like quite a long time to wait. Also could you please re-send me the quote? I accidently deleted it while cleaning my inbox. :o

Thanks again,

Luis S
