thanks kmk, you can remove it now if you're worried about spammers picking it up.

I'm at home most of the day so you'll be able to remove it pretty much as soon as it's posted.

I also received the email back from the current vendor and he said if we can get 46 or more people he will honour the 50 person price.
Currently we have 45 so check the list and if you're not on there make sure you let me know by today.

For those that wanted overnight delivery. He is quoting $36.00 from FedEx and UPS.

Can we get an update on what the price is? I'm not reading 40 pages of posts to find it.

I was asked not to post the price by the vendor. If you want it send me an email and I'll reply or post your email address here and I'll send it to you.

The vendor isn't allowing private messages either? In any case, my email is edited

I'll delete that address in a few minutes.

How many people have a aftermarket exhaust and cold air intake on there truck. Does anyone remember if the Edge product will be OK with these mods. This can probobly be best answered by the company guys that have answered some other ?'s.

I have an aftermarket exhaust and plan on getting an intake system.

I wonder if I should get the intake and install it before or after I get the Edge product? Does it matter?

Tical84,

Did you recieve a quote from performance products? If so can you sent it out or just tell us if it is better than the current quote you had? Also, I have to work till 11pm tonight, what is my deadline to get my name on the 100% list?

I actually Wrote the techs about Ram-air or cold air intake system and aftermarket exhaust. I asked him if the Edge will compensate for the extra air-flow and if its safe or not. This is what he wrote back:

"The Evolution will hopefully be released in a week or so. The evolution will work normally with or without an Air intake or in your case Ram Air. This will allow the truck to breathe a little bit better. If you have any other questions then just let us know. Also that will be the only thing that we have for your truck."

I have no quote yet. They emailed me for the first time an hour ago so I replied asking an approx number and let them know we're in a bit of a rush.

You're in central time right? That makes 11:00 only 9:00 where I am and as far as I'm concerned today is the deadline meaning 24:00 PST, so technically you have until 02:00. Since Performance Products had emailed me I'd like to give them some time to respond with a quote that's why I'm waiting until today is officially over.

I just spoke to one of the techs at Edge and said basically the same thing to me. It will not hurt anything and most likely help just that much more.

I'm sort of interested but how does this group-buy thing work? What I mean is at what point is the order placed and when does the supplier start shipping? Do they wait until all the orders are in to make sure we have the number of orders that we say we do or what?

I would hate to place my order and pay for overnight shipping only to have my order held until all 50 or so orders are placed by the members here. (which may take a while)

Exactly my fear and the reason I might just spend the extra $$ and buy it alone.
