I heard back with a price from Performance Products that was much higher than our current offer. I'm waiting to hear back from them to see if they come back with a counter offer, but currently the price I sent you stays.

I'm waiting back on an email for the answer to that one.

I haven't but only because its long distance and I have the cell phone long distance plan at $0.25/min and he's so good at returning emails I have never been waiting for too long.

Let's do this already... Clearly Performance Products isn't going to get back to us today... We are giving them time to make a counter offer now? Sheesh... I have never given any vendor this much time to get back to me with a price, nevermind an online vendor...

"The Evolution will hopefully be released in a week or so. The evolution will work normally with or without an Air intake or in your case Ram Air. This will allow the truck to breathe a little bit better. If you have any other questions then just let us know. Also that will be the only thing that we have for your truck."
I'm just wondering. If Edge is not releasing our product for another week or so, why are we under a tight deadline? If we order now, then what? Do we give the vendor our credit card info, then we wait until next "week or so," for it to be sent from Edge to our vendor then from the vendor to us? This could be two weeks from now with the holidays and all.

If I'm wrong please correct me. I'm ready to go with everyone else, just can't see where we'll be getting it in our hands by the end of this week.

Yeah... talk about confusing. But from what I understand, our vendor already has them, and they are ready go. If I am incorrect, then I am just as lost as you are.

When I called Edge last Thursday or so, they were talking the first part of this week for a release. If the Edge tech is now saying in "a week or so," I can't see how the vendor could have a product that hasn't been released yet. Hopefully someone can help clarify this for us. Please!

Well, FedEX is a wonderful thing.

Released on day X from the manufacturer and day Y in the hands of the distributer.... providing Day X is not a Weekend day..

If the vendor has a first class operation they could be back out the door in the evening UPS pickup and all the credit card charges applied. But probably won't be that swift. I'm a glass half full guy so I'll wait and hope they spell my name, address and ZIP code correctly .
