It's getting much higher traffic:

F150Online.com: Most users ever online was 2,818, 05-06-2013 at 10:39 PM.

Current Viewing: Currently Active Users: 1491 (32 members and 1459 guests)

F150Forum.com: The most members online over 24 hours was 4,791, 01-09-2013 at 12:54 PM.

Current Viewing: Currently Active Users: 3757 (597 members and 3160 guests)

The stats don't lie, pretty staggering difference. Took me by surprise.

It's trivial IMO. I only frequent the best F150 site, this one.

^^^^ How are you forgetful?
I stop by a few times a week to see what is going on. This is now the only F150 or Stang site I visit, though I once visited a lot of Stang sites for performance info, etc. I'm a lurker anyway.

Thanks Mr. Burns,

Iduno, I recall joining a few back then, but didn't really post much. My last post was back in 2007 I think it said, my 46th. Had to get sent a new PW and I had to laugh at this post I seen while stopping by, -

Basic diagnostics should narrow it down, or you could do like everyone else on this forum and just throw parts at it until you claim Seafom was the fix.

So I guess I have 47 posts now

It's not too bad, - I have to say, I did get stuck in stickies for awhile. Man they have a sticky for everything. Yea, search the stickies first or your gonna get pounded.

Kidding aside, they got BIG. You can never have to much help when looking for the answers, right? Good for them.

Yes and no. Back in the day I started getting tired of this board. You'd post a question and come back a few hours later to find it three pages back with several answers. It became overwhelming.

I must say that every board I go to has slowed way down. Some might only get five or ten posts per day. These were boards that at one time were rockin and you had tvisitst several times per day to keep up. I'm starting to think the likes of Facebook and Google+ and the others are starting the demise of forums. The same way the forums signaled the decline ochat roomsms.

I know what your sayin, that has slowed quite a bit. There use to be a larger group of guys, regulars in the Engine forum on this site when I first signed up that were really good. They seem to know each other and were really good. That's what differentiated this site from others back then, - made it attractive IMO. Plus they used cool shades of green which made it stand out from the rest. I liked that lol.

Still good today, just different.

Yea, I don't have a clue about Google+, Facebook and/or that one other one I can't think of right now. Both my kids and Family are into that stuff tho. Hell, -I still use the phone to get in touch.

But the clowns seemingly are everywhere these days like as if it's a contest to see who can be the most right and God help ya if there's a typo or the clown didn't understand the post at all. I think that's what brought this board down so low. There were a lot of great folks willing to help here but I'm not seeing much of them now. I guess the clowns won. Anyway, I guess I'll be dropping in at times to see what's goin on.
I have to agree that this is the most explainable reason in my opinion. I usually read all posts before posting to a topic, but since this one had so many pages I just decided to write what was on my mind anyways.

Some have said that they get tired of people asking the same old questions again and again. I agree, but if you have someone new and has no idea how to use the search function, then there needs to be an adult way of telling them without coming across as a jerk. I have read many posts, some of mine included, that someone posts a comment on that they have no idea what they are saying or they read into the topic the wrong way. Too many jerks have ruined it for others. They are probably mostly 13 year olds arguing something that they heard someone else say and took it as Gospel. Opinions are great. Facts are better. I just dont see why people cant be civilized and respond in a kinder manner than they have. I love to see honest debate showing facts. But lets not get into a pissing contest. This is a forum for all to gather and share information and talk to one another. Act like you are standing in front of the person when posting and see how much better you will respond to a post when you think you will get the breath knocked out of ya if you smart off the wrong way

This is just one of the reasons i have slacked off on reading on a daily basis myself. I still look in on a weekly basis to see if there is something that might be of significance to me. This is a great site and i have received many tips and insight from it. Its still enjoyable to read.
