I quit caring when there were more ads than forum posts, combined with some extraordinarily stupid posts by stupid people that I didn't really want to tolerate.

Quintin, we sure could use your expertise to offset some of us stupid types! Good to see you are still around.

I agree with the ads part. I wish it wasn't the case, but this is the slowest loading forum I go to.

Also, a thriving General Discussion and political/religious topics drive a lot of page views for an entire site. Whenever sites either do away with political/religious topics or discourages it, it affects site traffic in a negative way, eventually.

I bet most of the lowering info there is opinion though and not fact.

With aftermarket torsion keys being suggested as a good idea, I'd be wary of suspension info on there haha. Know a few people that have chewed up front end parts due to them

I think that a lot of people just pay to have their repairs done, the time of pride in doing it yourself is dieing and some areas ( HOA's)won't allow DIY's

Unfortunately in the Internet world, when searching the word forum is used to describe sites for discussions.
The name of the " other " site makes it appear at the top of the page so no one goes down the list enough to find us

My neighbors recently sold their house, and while it was on the market, I had my truck torn apart for a few days installing my long tube headers. When potential buyers came to look at the house, I felt obligated to say, "I promise I don't do this all the time!"

Our HOA probably wouldn't like it too much if they saw everything I've done in the driveway, but they can kiss my ***!

As long as I've been here when people give bad advice about mods they are usually set in their place pretty quick. Nothing good about an enthusiast website that pushes bad info.
