Oh man that happened once too, I wont get into it here long time ago and boy did I get a nice cussing on that one. I am much like you ross, I pay all the bills we have seperate accounts.
My wife is cool about alot of things, she did get ruffled when I had the quads and bikes tho. Cause I would let my buddies talk me into riding every night I was off and we do swing 12 shifts so it was like her being here 7 days a week alone. I did give them up for her, but as far as the truck shes cool.
I came home once, from some training and she had a xbox 360 reciept laid on the couch. This was like the first few weeks it was out. LOL it had on it if you can find where I hid it you can keep it. Man I searched everywhere, she had actually came to my training and put it in the trunk of my car haha. Good times shes a good catch hopefully her 5 years of college education will start paying off soon and I can get my truck paid off. Only then will it see life from 6 inches higher.

sorry but i had to bring this from the dead. its hilarious listening to some of these stories, i had an ex like this too. now the new one i think is more excited for my truck to get done then i am somethimes. im suprised i havent woke up to my truck missing out of the driveway!

When ever my GF finds out i visit or post on this forum i fear for my life, she hates it that i waste time on a stupid truck forum when i can be talking to her.
I just tell her baby, Isent it hot that i can work on my truck
she just sits there and smiles for a bit and says, YES
so you know what i still visit even tho i get hassled about it like no other

mine gf does the same thing. she fronted me the extra i needed to get my rockers lined after i had done the bumpers rather than having to wait.
she spends her money i spend mine but i do find occasionally i get her something small when i do a mod to the truck just for good measure since she does cook and by me food when i dont want to (save money for the truck)
