So am i the only one posting in fear that your gf or wife is gonna find out your on this site?

When ever my GF finds out i visit or post on this forum i fear for my life, she hates it that i waste time on a stupid truck forum when i can be talking to her.

I just tell her baby, Isent it hot that i can work on my truck

she just sits there and smiles for a bit and says, YES

so you know what i still visit even tho i get hassled about it like no other

me: cause i dont get lip back from the forum
GF: walks away waiting for me to come get her
me: continues to sit infront of the computer till she comes back

 

Lol my gf could care less what I did on the computer. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing

 

Mine is well aware of my truck addiction and has accepted it. Not how she would spend her time doing "silly truck stuff" but it all works.

 

My GF has made a few comments to no avail. She is more concerned everytime the UPS guy drops something off on the back porch.

There was no way I could hide the Rough Off Road exhaust box that was sitting on the back porch when I got home today. Size made it just a tad bit obvious.

Ain't that the truth. I had to start sending stuff to work so I wouldn't get in trouble. That's only a short term fix though, I still have to explain where the money went!!!! (by then it's already on the truck )

 

yeah, my wife doesnt mind the forum, but the money disappearing in rather large quantities at somewhat regular intervals has sparked a "discussion" or two in the last few months.

Take for example the HID's. A mod thats tough to miss...even for a woman...which is amazing cause two weeks after putting on black rockstars and bigger louder tires, she says "I think your truck looks 'different', i kinda like it" whatever...back to the HID's.
So, wife: whys it so bright in the garage? (as we are backing out)
me: hmmm, i dont know
wife, once we're on the road: did you replace the light bulbs or something, they look really bright.
me: yeah, something like that (trying not to engage in conversation)
wife: yeah what...what did you do to make them look so bright and look so much different....no, let me rephrase that...How MUCH DID YOU SPEND TO MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE THAT!!????

oh crap...here we go. Now i spend the next 20 minutes trying to justify the purchase and ultimately fail, but its always fun to try

It is fun explaining everything something happens to it. I think she expects a gift everytime I give my truck a gift. Can't afford that though haha

I think that would fix alot of my problems aswell, the buy of gifts for her. but why buy 300 of some Tiffanys when i can buy a tuner or something haha.

I think one excuse i gave her was if i bought a tuner i could save money and gas and the money i can save will go towards some jewelry that shut her up for awhile, i havent bought the tuner yet tho, so she gets no jewelry
