I drove a 1989 f250 in mint condition, just starting to rust when I sold it 2 years ago. Truck was only 2 years younger than me. I hit a mail box on an icy road and it still kept trucking for a good 2 years. Smelled like maple syrup when I sold it I read that means it was burning coolant.

well I have had 2 F=150s, so Before my 1998 F150 4X4 Lar. 50th Anniversary edition, I had a 95 SVT Cobra (I miss it too), and then I had an old dodge truck, 1500 reg cab 4x4 that I was considering selling when a drunk 19 yr old hit the read and the ins totaled it out and I found my 2005 SC 4X4 used 6 months old w/ 15K miles on it at the dealership and drove her home. I just got my new tires on it, and they are sweet, esp with the snow and ice, they are the Toyo MT 275/70/18 and they rock!

I currently drive a 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe. I am tired of small cars and want something big, I love ford pick-ups so hopefully that is my next car.

2002 black Silverado Extended Cab. It was a good truck, trouble free for 75,000 miles, but I have always been a Ford guy and the only reason I bought it was the dealer was reasonable on price and the Ford dealer tried to shaft me. I had gone into the Ford dealer, said I don't like to haggle. I want to pay cash for that truck right there, what is your bottom line out the door. The sales guy said let me go see what we can do. he came back with the window sticker price plus TTL. I said you either don't hear well or think I am an idiot, either way, you just missed a sale. I went across the street to the Chevy house, said the same thing and they cut me a decent deal, and I picked it up the next day. Three years later I tried the same Ford dealer, they cut me a reasonable deal on my 05. The Fords are built better and look better, but the Silverado was a dependable truck.
