I had a brand new 08 Mazda 3, I was rear ended 10/10 $5500 in damage. It was totaled by a yuppie on his cell phone driving a Lincoln Navigator 7/14/10, pulled out in front of my husband driving MY car, not crying though I got a truck!!
Prior to that umm..lot's and lot's of honda's a few other odd's and ends. I'll probably never have a small car again, unless it's a red Porsche 911 Turbo

from 1999 to 2000: Dodge Ram 1500 Sport, 4x4, 318ci, reg cab short bed. (biggest buying mistake I ever made)
from 2000 to today: 2000 F-150, 4x4, SCab, 5.4, short bed 202K and counting...

1994 Dodge ram 1500 5.9, Ran it to 198,000.(traded it in toward f150) 1981 jeep cj-7 Renegade, custom frame up build.(garaged), 1946 Chevy 3/4 ton panel truck.( garaged),1969 Chevy Camaro ( huricane Bob dropped a couple trees on it , Totalled ) 1984 Mercury Capri RS turbo (sold), 1981 Mercury Capri RS 5.0 (stolen, scrapped), 1981 Dodge ram 1500, slant 6 (sold),76 Buick Regal, loaded ( sold it for scrap ),74 Chevy Nova 350ci(parted out and scrapped),76 Buick appollo v6(sold for scrap) 72 Chevy Montecarlo 350ci. I drove my parents 99 Grand Prix for a few months until I got a 2000 Ford Focus. I drove that until I couldn't stand such a tiny vehicle, and traded that for a 2001 Mazda B-Series truck. I drove that B-Series til the transmission went out. I sold the Mazda and bought a cheap 1996 Dodge Intrepid. I drove that for a year or so and finally got my F150.
