What did you drive before your F-150

Well I had a 98 Honda Prelude which I loved until some young girl decided to turn left on green without yielding. Totalled the car with over $15,000 in damages and the engine was even touched. I've had my Truck for two weeks now and I can't imagine owning anything else. kinda wish I would have got a 4x4 since three days after I bought my truck I got a huge promotion at work. Affording the extra few thousand wouldn't have been a problem. Maybe next go round, hope I haven't grown up by then.

Well I drove a F150 before my F150. Had a 97 F150 XL S/C 4.2. So I upgraded to the bad boy that I have now. You're right, I couldn't imagine driving anything other than a truck, I'll always be in one.

I drove a Dodge Dakota. It had the long bed and I did not like the fact that I could not make a U turn in a normal street. With my reg cab, short bed F-150 all is well.

1986 Mustang GT Convertable, still have it, couldn't give up my convertble. My first vehicle was a 1981 F-250 reg cab w/8'box, 4X4, 300 6, 4spd. Still regret the day I sold that, but finaly back to a F-series and lovin' every minute of it. It's in MN with the wife for a week, when I get it back it will have nearly 2k mi on it in less than a month. Oh well, that's what their there for.

Too many vehicles to list them all. The last one right before my current F-150 4X4 was a 1995 F-150 4X2. had to get a 4X4 to handle the snow in the Smokey Mountains.

1987 Ford Ranger. Dad bought it from me for my brother Daniel. I think that truck will last forever, it's got 324,000 miles and runs perfect.

My last car before the beast:
a 1986 Bluebird by Nissan. I was in Japan!! Over here it's called a maxima!! mine of course had the steering wheel on the right and naturally it was a 5 speed. Shifted w/left hand. Used to have awful bruises on the right hand from hitting the door every time I went to shift!! And at 80kph it made this god-awful racket (something to keep you from speeding!!) Sure was glad to get back into a truck!!

Hmmm... Last to first -

4 wheel vehicles:
*1998 Ford Ranger (rented for two weeks waiting on Beast to come in)
*1963 VW-based "Avenger" kit car (still own)
*1987 Nissan King Cab 4X4 SE V6
*1978 Datsun King Cab 4X2
*1983 Toyota corrolla (Mom's car. Drove only occasionally)
*1969 Pontiac Bonneville with 428ci V8 and "various colors of primer" finish
*1972 F150 (F100?) Ranger XLT (drove while dad was at sea - didn't want it to just sit!)
*196? F150 (F100?) 4X4 (only to help dad feed the cows)
*19?? Various heavy dump trucks, tractors, and combines. These are what I learned to drive on, when I was just barely tall enough to reach pedals! I was a farm kid early on, and well, you just drive all kinds of stuff...

2 Wheel vehicles:
*1982 HD FXRS (currently restoring and yet to actually ride, but will soon. Currently depleting my fund for truck goodies, but is almost ready to ride)
*1988 Honda Hawk GT 650 (where my name comes from. Still own and love)
*1992 Yamaha WR200 Enduro dirt bike (still own and get dirty with it!)
*1985 Honda XL350R Dual-Sport
*1986 Yamaha Virago 1100 (Wrecked, still have the carcass. I loved that bike...)
*1974 Kawasaki KZ400 with open pipes and "Flow through" lubrication ;-) A nasty little machine...
*197? Sears mini-bike with "modifed" governor (wonder I never blew the motor!)

For the Record, the Bonneville and the '99 F150 are the only ones with auto-trannies that I have actually owned. I did a lot of soul-searching before deciding I had to have the 5.4 l, and therefore accept the slushbox. It is a cruel world!

Hmmmm, lets see:
1991 F150 XLT Lariat 4X4 (former pride & joy)
1993 GEO Tracker Convertible 4X4 (wifes)
1991 Escort (wifes)
1989 Mustang GT
1977 Cobra
1976 Mercury Comet (my first ride, may she rest in peace)

Currently own a 93 Taurus SHO, an awesome little ride (the wifes) and of course my 99 F150 which needs no explanation. Betcha couldn't tell by the above list with one exception (Tracker was wife's idea) I'm a blue oval man all the way! Guess I could mention my current work ride which I spend more time in than anything else (unfortunately) is a 97 Crown Victoria.
