What did you drive before your F-150

My First truck was a 1977 F-100 302/4sp no power brakes or stearing, I owned a few Monte Carlos, Ltds, a Z28 and a Toyota celica, I allways had a Ford pick up, even when I owned a Car.
After 2004, I gave up on Ford, I had some great F-150's since 1977, but oh well, I have moved on.
You still see a lot of late 70's unrestored f-150's on the road ...

I drove a 92 Ford Explorer as my first SUV. Then I got a 97 Mercury Mountaineer. Both of them I put a lot of miles on and now I have my 2000 Ford F-150 Lariat. Selling that in October do to putting a lot of miles on it and getting a 2005 F-150 4 door Lariat.
F150 for life!
My first vehicle was an '84 F150 auto XLT 4X4 that I put a used 302 in, drove that from 13 till 18 and it's still sitting at the farm. Next (18-21) was a '97 F150 4.6L auto XLT 4X4 w/ power everything, a brush guard and 285R16's that I loved to death until a deer, some ice and a telephone pole took it from me this winter. Now I have an '02 F150 5.4L auto FX4, love the extra power when I'm pulling and can't wait to graduate college to start upgrading this beast. I'll never drive anything but an F150!
