makes fitting car seats in the back easier. oh and leg room later.

only thing is i'd only get a screw if it had a bed that i could pack my camper in.

Mine reclines pretty well. I don't even have it up against the back wall that's how much room there is.

I've got plenty of room with the seat all the way back, even with my family of four in my four door sport truck.

I had a 2000 Scab first, and it was great, but I hated having to open my door lot let people out. Plus the cab space is limited.

For my 04', the Screw was the only option I would consider. The advantages are obvious over a Scab, in particular room and convenience.

Except for the higher price tag, I don't see any disadvantage.

If Ford got to the point where they could only make one type of cab for the F150, I am pretty sure it would be Supercrew since it fits most people needs.

8.5 ft according to the specs.

The 5.5 ft bed has never held me back. I wouldn't complain if I had a 6.5 foot bed, but 5.5 feet can do everything a 6.5'er can, except for maybe closing the tailgate with a quad in the back.

I would never not buy a truck I liked because it has a 5.5 foot bed.

cabover, 8.5 foot print, but i think its still got another 8ft for the sleeper portion?

i dunno, 3 ft hanging off the rear sound like too much.

3 feet hanging over the rear?

3 feet hanging over the cab perhaps.

BTW, my truck is about 18.xx feet long, to the best of my recollection. Can you imagine a 16 foot camper in the bed?

Do you have a pic of your camper?

with a 5.5 ft bed and a 8.5 ft footprint of the camper, that leaves 3 feet hanging over. i take my tailgate off, dunno if everyone else does or not. i have roughly 2 ft hanging off my bed when i load my camper.

pics in my gallery somewhere.

Wow, yeah, that's a big'un. Looks like 16 ft too.

With a 5.5 foot bed I think I'd simply be leaving the tailgate on then.
