Finally broke down and bought a good dash cam. I've had a few close calls in the past week that would have turned into a "he said, she said" debacle if I hadn't stopped or moved out of the way in time.

I won't own a vehicle without one, got started on them a year or so ago. Good way to protect your self
I always park it the boonies or against a concrete curb, and park all the way against the curb
Yep me too, parked in BFE and still didn't help. When a curb is available I always back in where my passenger side tires are within a half inch or so and that way I have lots off room in the spot on the drivers side.
So frustrating -- that is why I like using my Cavalier as my daily grinder! Keeps my "babies" at home in the garage where they can't be banged up by a bunch of yay-hoo's......

Totally agree. For some reason its harder for me to get in and out of the cavailer and shifting and putting my seatbelt on since I dislocated my shoulder. The pickemup seems to be easier to drive.
Atleast its just paint from their door and no dent or missing paint (I think) when I get up to where I can wash the truck again I'm going to tackle the door and see if I can get it to disappear.
