81 and humid is what we had down here at Damon. Just returned from taking the grandson fishing at the state park. Came a shower while we were there and dropped to 77. Crazy weather.

 

Yep -- sticky and icky here in Houston this Christmas -- looks like next week will bring more seasonal weather with highs in the 50's......

Hitting the road for North Carolina...stopping in Georgia tonight and then to Lake Norman, N.C. tomorrow. Meeting the wife's sister and her family for a few days.

Went out to Rapid City for Christmas yesterday and was forced to leave a bit earlier than expected.....fricken snow storm hit the state!!!!

Took the Denalli ....thank goodness we did

Drove right through the heart of the storm! Top speed 55mph avg speeds were between 35-45 mph

 

On a good day it takes 4.5-5 hours to get to my BIL's house out there and the same time to get back....well yesterday I went out in 5 and came back in 8.5

Several Tornados in Dallas area. Sounds like worst damage was in Rowlett my child hood home town
