Question Fella's

Will going from a 18" wheel to a 20" wheel throw off my speedo? I have never screwed with wheels so i honestly don't know.

Current Tires are 275/65/18.
New Wheel/Tires are 275/55/20 (2015 Stock Wheels and Tires)

Also will the difference in 18's and 20's be noticeable with my fuel mileage?

The diameter of those two tire sizes is virtually identical so there should be no impact on the speedometer or odometer. The impact on mileage between the two would likely only come from any difference in weight between the two packages -- my suspicion is that the difference is probably minimal.

The size if the wheels don't affect the speedo, it's the height of the tire. Or actually the diameter.

On paper the 18" is actually .25"-.35" larger but when on vehicle it's the same diameter as the 20" due to the tires being loaded and sidewall flex....

Depending on the wheel composition plus the tire the 18" is actually lighter than the 20" and takes less energy to start and stop its inertial force....so you may see a slight drop in mpgs with the 20"....

The other factor one needs to compare also is the rolling resistance of the tire too....this varies greatly between mfgs
