Gorgeous day down here in Houston!

The wife is taking the boy to see some Sci-Fy movie this afternoon so it looks as if I will be able to sneak away for a little "me time" -- think I'll take one of the cars out for a drive and treat myself to a little BBQ!

I think I'll probably take the Ranger today since I'm down below 1/4 tank in that vehicle from the last time I filled it up back in February. Now I'll fill it up with fresh gas and add a double-dose of Sta-Bil since I'll probably only burn a tank of gas in it every year from here on out.

Yeah -- I got my "family time" in last night since it was the Halloween Festival up at the boy and wife's school! Since my wife is a teacher, she has to work the event, so I usually head up there and keep an eye on all the staff kids as they run around during the evening. I also usually end up doing a few "Sonic Runs" to get drinks for the teachers, and am in charge of taking some of the junior high girls who help out with the event over to McDonald's for dinner beforehand.

I've known most of these girls since they were 1st graders at the wife's school and it is always a kick to hang out with them again during these school events! As I was sitting there and listening to them talk over dinner, pretty much all I could think about was how these girls are going to drive their poor husbands crazy some day! It makes me realize how lucky I am to have had a boy instead -- much less emotion and drama.....

Current Tires are 275/65/18.
New Wheel/Tires are 275/55/20 (2015 Stock Wheels and Tires)

Also will the difference in 18's and 20's be noticeable with my fuel mileage?
I've had both and the 20's will ride rougher due to the shorter sidewall on the tires. Slight decrease in fuel mileage due to the heavier weight of the 20 inch wheels.

Thanks for the info. Looking at 2 different types of wheels. Not decided which ones I want yet.

I ate at Infamous Jim's. Grilled chicken breast, Mexican corn, grilled onions and bell peppers, and a lettuce and tomato salad. Was excellent.

So what are you telling me -- that I didn't dodge the "raging emotions" bullet by having a son?! Dang-it -- I thought all I had to worry about with Will was him finding the stash of keys to my cars.....
