Did you watch the race last night? That fire was crazy! Haven't seen that in a long time

20 mins ago we had a huge flash of lightning and lots of corresponding thunder, and no storms or rain?

No rain today but it just missed us and stayed in the Gulf. More expected tonight and for the next 3 days.

My 14 yr old grandson stayed with us this weekend and had me looking at used F-250 diesels for him when he get's his license. He thinks nothing of spending 30K bucks for a used truck as long as it's not his hard earned money. He won't even be a freshman in high school until mid August.

Well, that's not uncommon among kids...

Buying something like that is a HUGE dis-service to a kid -- completely takes away the sense of pride and accomplishment they have in themselves when they finally get to the point where they can afford to buy something nice on their own!

I couldn't agree more! Myself and my siblings are living proof of that.

Three more inches of rain with lots of lightning and winds up to 100 mph...not a good day!
