The Utah Jazz were originally the New Orleans Jazz, moved to Utah, didn't change name.

That is a lot of rain!

Yeah, I know -- and it was as dumb as when the Oilers moved to Tennessee and they didn't change the name for the first few years! Some things just don't go together -- Utah and Jazz, Tennessee and Oilers, Los Angeles and Lakers, St. Louis and Rams -- if you're going to move a team, then change the dang name.....

Although it's kind of interesting how things have come full-circle in the NFL -- when Tennessee became the Titans, they took on the original nickname of the New York Jets; when Houston became the Texans, they took on the original nickname of the Kansas City Chiefs (who started their existence in Dallas).....

Man, just had a turd floater in town. Kinda hard navigating the flooded streets in a cavalier. water was coming up over the front of the hood, Just kept my foot on the gas pedal and it swam right on down the road

This town is horrible when it comes a down pour. The drainage system is the streets.

Typical. West Texas towns don't bother with something so seldom used as drainage. They spend the money on pipelines to bring in water.

Hubbard Creek Lake at Breckenridge is almost dry, down to 15%. I went over the bridge Wed and there was no water to be seen in any direction. Albany, Abilene, and Breckenridge all pull water from there. Abilene is building a new pipeline to Possum Kingdom. Guess they will drain it now.

Whew! Busy couple of weeks. Haven't been on in awhile (stupid mobile app doesn't ever work). Hope everyone is well. Lots of updates.

Moved into the new house last week! Got the new fence put up, it's dog approved. This is not the whole yard, lol, just his favorite corner.

Went down to Orlando last night to see Jimmy Buffett. He put on a great show! Next time I'll try to catch him when he's in the Keys.

Oh, and one more thing. I've been seriously considering getting a Boost Bar (I really like the looks of the one PawPaw has, and the gap is bugging me). However, they don't make one specifically for the "C-clamp" grille I have, so I was thinking of going with something a little more subtle. What do you guys think of this one?

So we found two dogs running through our neighborhood this evening. One of them was friendly and is now hanging out in my back yard with Abel. The other dog looked like a boxer maybe, and wanted nothing to do with me.

Currently trying to locate his owner. He has a collar but no tags. Currently calling him "Friday"

You can take him/her to the vet and they can scan them for a chip. Should be free.
