About an inch maybe a little more of snow and sleet here in Athens. Can't get the truck out so I will work from the cabin. It's 25 with a wind chill if 15. Nearly got stuck yesterday in the mud. Had a lot of rain before it started freezing. Had to back up a hill to get traction.

Sleet last night followed by 3.5" snow this morning in DFW. 4th highest single day snowfall on record. Most of it is already melted and burned off.

Had to break out the Ranger for my trip up to Austin last night -- was getting an intermittent battery light on the Cavalier when I was driving it around Houston yesterday and didn't want to risk it on a late night drive in cold weather. Battery is new and the belt and tension looked good, so I'm thinking the alternator is starting to go.....???
