Just picked up my new DD. '01 Focus SE 5 speed with 71k miles. Great little car, bought it from my dad who bought it new.

 

Wouldn't mind having that for a DD. Sounds fun to drive.

 

I've always enjoyed driving it, plus it gets mid 20's in town. Parents have 4 cars so I scooped this up to replace my '96 Mazdarati with 224k miles.

 

Anybody see the officials just blow the fumble call on Jennings in the Packer-Giant game??!!! How in God's name could they not overturn the ruling on the field after review??!!! I'm so sick of how the NFL handles the Packers with "kid gloves" I could VOMIT!!!!!

That's what I call a turn around. Listed the Mazdarati on Craigslist about 3 pm. Someone just came over with $1k cash and drove it away.

4 banger? DOHC or SOHC? what did you pick it up for?

 

Actually I have no idea which motor is in it, other than it's a 4 cyl. I'll let you know.

The DOHC has power, the SOHC has no *****

Just keep an eye on the valve cover gaskets, they will eventually leak down on the front of the exhaust manifold and burn oil off, wont actually drip to the ground. I doubt your dad drove it hard, but take a look at the engine mounts too.
