The only good thing about how warm it is, I can give Maggie a bath and then let her turbo dry outside(run like she has no brains).

When we had our dog we would have to blow dry him in the winter and being a long haired dog he would be a giant black puff ball for an hour or so afterwards.

If I were to blow dry her, I would have to put here in her crate and blow hot air thru the crate. No way would she stand still to be dried. It is a trait of the Rat Terriers that they will run non stop for about 30 minutes after a bath. I have no idea why. Some owners call it the Rattie 500. This is the look I get when I tell her it's bath time. She seems to be saying, "you think so, huh? She is pretty good about it though once I get stern. She will stand still in the bath tub while I shampoo her. I use one of the shower hoses on her to rinse. Towel dry as best possible but I better not take very long. Then it is 90 mph till she drops.

This is on the front porch of the little cabin in the woods.
