I can't see the picture but, who won the Liddel vs Jardene fight? Forgive me if I spelled their names wrong.

Keith Jardine by decision.

It was a one sided fight...Keith took it to Chuck.

Now, I want to see Jardine and Houston Alexander hook it up.

I'll fix the picture now.

Wow. Chuck's on a slide I guess.

I don't think there is anything wrong with your picture. I'm behind a firewall. They've got photobucket and pretty much every other hosting site like it blocked.

IMO, chuck could have won that fight, but he just seemed to be a little off. Chuck didn't seem like the aggressive Liddell he's known to be.

they got some nasty califlower ears! The guy on the right kinda looks like he has down syndrome.

You would not want to say that to his face. Trust me.

FWIW, I've seen some comments on an MMA board that Chuck is just not feeling it these days and was contemplating retirement after the Jardine loss.

When you are the type of fighter that fights like you have something to prove, it's very difficult to stay 100% motivated when you have accomplished your goals (World Championship), made lots of money and are getting older. Not everyone can be like Randy Couture and keep improving and highly motivated at 40+.

No doubt Chuck is still a feared striker and one of the best even at 90% - 95% committment. And his 90% is more hours training than most humans would ever endure. But as his skills erode I would rather see him retire than become a stepping stone for fighters trying to get into the top 10.

Yeah Chuck was out partying before Rampage which was not too smart as it turned out. He better either retire or take is serious again before Silva or anyone else. Or perhaps he should move down to backyard bare knuckle fights like Kimbo Slice used to partake in.

Good post.

I agree 100% about retirement. To see my favorite fighter of all time and seeing him as a stepping stone would be hard to watch. Chuck is a top name in this sport, and he has helped it grow.

Like I mentioned above, Liddell just didn't seem himself in the Jardine fight. I was affraid he would retire after that loss, but you're correct when you say not everyone can be like Randy Couture.

I mean, Randy is a freak of nature. 40+ and is putting youngin's on the matt and pounding a mud hole in their asses and walking it dry. He is my hero.

Everyone should want to see them fight. UFC better do it soon before its too late. The problem is MMA fans know who the guy on the right is UFC fans don't.

Houston Alexander & Keith Jardine did fought with Alexander winning with a KO 38 seconds in the first round . I think Houston should have fought Chuck .

The "Axe Murderer" will mostly likely beat Liddell. Silva is too fast and has improved his game Liddell does not change up his game and he is now stale and everybody knows it. It was just a matter of time.

The real fight coming up is Franklin vs. Silvia!!! I hope the
"Ace" wins.

You can wear head gear. It will protect your ears and forehead some but you'll still get full impact to the face. I've worked out at boxing gyms for a lot of years and hardly ever see people with their ears messed up. It will be one of your least concerns.
