WTF? Why is this a thread?

OK, why do I have a CB? During highschool, all of the guys in my class got CB radios for our trucks. It was an easy way to see who was in town and what was going. Alot easier to talk to 8 guys instead of calling/texting each other. Next, coyote hunting. Tell me something better and more practical to use to communicate with 6 other trucks, 4 miles away at the next cornfield over. CB's are very nice to have while offroading. I'm not going to call my buddy every 5 minutes, asking which line to take or trail to hit up next. Also, it's a great "radar detector" on the miles and miles of highway. And just how the heck are you suppose to talk to someone when you don't know their cellphone number? I've talk to dozens of other "truckers" (pick-ups with CB's) just BSing for fun.

Why does this phenomenon of CB radios still in trucks bother you? Seriously, just go drink your Starbucks in your internet cafe.

Well I am tired and going to bed. Thanks for enlightening me on the use of old technology. And thanks for the entertainment while I am sitting here in my hotel room bored as hell. And dont worry I dont think CB users are dumb or anything like that. I was just having a little fun and being a little sarcastic. Sarcasm always makes posts more interesting in my opinion. And I actually think the 911 thing is funny. You might not get it if your young. Its an old game. I think 6 years is enough time to wait until you poke fun at something.

Seriously...just becuase I like kanye's music does not mean I am an uneducated person that wears "bling". I guess this is turniong into some sort of race war or something and you are hating on the hip hop culture. What is ironic is how similar the hiphop culture is to the backwoods white trash culture. I belong to neither of the two but I do like some of both cultures music. How bout we keep this on topic....I wanted to know why people use CB's. I honestly had no clue why.[/QUOTE]

I wondered how long it would take for the "Race Card" to get played...

Calling me "White Trash" hurt...hurt real bad. Hold on..................Had to spit my copenhagen out, and refresh.

My little brother is in Iraq tonight because of what was started that day. No amount of time will ever be enough to make light of the deaths of hundreds of Americans resulting in a war that has claimed thousands more.

Come on man Rampage is so ancient and outdated. Get with technology and get you an Xbox 360.

It wouldn't matter if it had been 60 years since the terrorist attacks on 9/11, there still wouldn't be nothin funny about it. So if you get a laugh out of that picture you're a total douchebag in my mind, just like whoever made it.

Dave, why do CB's bother you so much? You must either be a control freak or you were violated in some way by channel 19.
