CB radios......WHY??????
www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnRwQjTYfGI - Check this out if it show's up! That's why you need a CB, 10-4 and out!!
If you really want to be able to talk. Get a HAM radio. You can talk for miles and has MANY more possibilities. Ive got one. CB's are not that great. There is plenty better options for traffic routing and cop notification. A radar detector ALWAYS detects radars. Its not like there are people constantly driving around yelling out cop locations. And the new sync system in the trucks navigation redirects traffic very nicely.
Yes sir i did!

We used to use CB's back in high school before we all had cell phones. Running around after school or on the weekends, they were fun for finding your buddies and talking with all the local spots around there that had CBs. I used to radio in to my dads buddies gas station and tell them I was coming down every time I filled up with gas. Why? I dont know
Wouldn't go on a road trip without throwing my Midland portable into my truck.
Only takes 5 minutes to install the antenna and when traffic starts stacking up, you can always find the best way around (combined with a GPS) and why the traffic is backed up to begin with.
I don't cruise with it on unless it's late at night or early morning. Keeps me alert.
The guys with the 50 mile broadcast range are kinda a pain, however. They wash over 5 channels and talk lots of bull.
