2. The brain does not stop growing until a person reaches the age of 23 to 25. Use of alcohol inhibits the growth of the brain. I'm not going to debate why lawmakers chose 21 as the age that it becomes legal, I'm only going to state facts.

This explains what happened to me....

So why send a young man to war at the age of 18?

Well, the age of "adult-hood" is 18.

I enlisted when I was 17...had moms sign for me.

I can't really understand where you're going with your post so if you could shed some light on it, it'd be helpful. I'm trying to say that just because you got your 18th birthday doesn't mean something just automatically clicks in your head and you're a completely different person. I'm pretty sure most of you can agree with me here so therefore there should be no standard age of "adult hood" because its different for everyone.

**** the only thing that changed when I turned 18 was I could buy dip legally get a tattoo and go to titty bars. The last one def changed my life

Yep. minor in possession gets you a year of no license and lose of state lottery scholarships here. However, almost all first time offenders can get PTI work and apology to court. After all work done, record is expunged...
