5k for a summer of 12 hour days doesn't sound like a great deal....

12 weeks, 5 days a week, 12 hours a day = 720 hours

5,000/720 = ~$7/hr and that's not taking into account any overtime you should have been paid for.

And if you can pay for insurance, school, left, gas, beer, pot, etc w/ only 5k, you're doing very well. $5k barely lasted a summer for me while I was in college.

I didn't work the entire summer, shoulda said that earlier. I ****ed around the first month, not working very much, and the first 2 or 3 weeks of august right before the semester started, so I had a solid 2 months of work and a little of the first month. Insurance cost me about 1k, school I paid my parents and they paid the school, paid half then and half now, and the rest, I just learned to budget wisely

I was getting paid about 9 bucks an hour, under the table, which worked pretty well, I haven't been able to get a job that pays that well while at school unfortunately.

I work 80 to 100 hours a week, for $25 an hour, and it pays for my fun, when I get to have it.

Indeed I am lifting my HD, and indeed it shall be sweet.
Spec is gonna be 8" Rize lift, 2" Add a Leaf, maybe King Coilovers(we'll see what the bank account says) Toyo Muds 37/13.50R20 on Chrome KMC Hoss wheels and a set of 4.88 Gears. Possibly Amp Reseach Steps if I can keep my HD sideskirts. Hopefully it'll be done in the spring. I priced it all out a couple of weeks ago when I had some time off, its pricey, but not as bad as I thought.

I am 16, junior in high school and here is my truck.

Plans are,
Remove rain guards
Remove Chrome door handles
Somehow get pinstipes off
then maybe a lift with rims/tires

Yeah, I'm aiming for all high quality parts, just hope the truck holds up to the bigger tires and suspension and I am not disappointed.

I would go Painted to Match with Mark LT handles. That'll look sweet.

Nice lookin truck bud! To take pinstripes off just sit in the garage one day with a hair dryer.... slowly heat em up then peel off. Use some quick detailer (maybe something better out there?) to remove some sticky residue... then clean ur truck up give her a nice wax job and viola, no more stickers and no one will notice. Just did it to mine (pics in gallery)
