I'd looooove to have an electric truck......

My vision is a about a 2.5L, 2 or 3 cyl, diesel, powering a generator and an electric motor right on the drive axel, it would be just like a train.

I have debated and thought about building my own project truck like this just for poops and grins and to see how well t would work. I'm just not effecient and hanvet taken the time to learn how to reliably adjust the speed.

I am not a fan of the Toy;s, they are just flat out ugly and they are built to appear so oversized.

I won't even comment on the Hemi's...

The new Chevy's just look stupid. Huge wheel wells, itty bitty tires. Looks dumb. Not to mention the front ends look like they were built at 4:58 on a Friday. Unfinished. Why only Chrome on the corners?

GMC however, said, Chrome the entire front. Looks WAY better. In fact I saw a GMC 1500 whatchamacallit that had big wheels and tires and a full grill. Actually looked like a truck. A lot like a Ford.

I love the Fords and I love the new F250's. They just look bad *** and all business.

My .02 worth. which ain't much.

Well, I tell you what RR, I REALLY loved those SuperDuties- Your's looks fantastic....

But, everytime I think about it, at the end of the day, I know I don't need, and will never use that much truck.

But man, if I had $50K to spare (priced one, optioned the way I like it), that 2007 Lariat F-450 dualie, crew would be in my driveway. I might even get the Diesel (And I really don't need that).

I wen from not liking the SD's when they came out (circa 1998) to absolutely loving that style, which hasn't changed a lot in nearly 10 years.

hey thanks...I take care of my baby. However, mine is for pulling our 5er and I do use as a daily driver. Agree that if you don't need it, its way over kill.

And to be honest, if you shop right you can steal one like I did.
