What I'm trying to say is there is ALOT more important things to talk, discuss, think, worry or other wise consume our time with than to get upset over a comment.

Great thing about radio/TV personalities.... If they say something that offends you... Then CHANGE THE F'in CHANNEL!!!!! If they offend enough people then sponsors no longer reap a benefit for advertising on thier show so they quit advertising, soon they do not have any money to record or broadcast and when thier pockets run dry then they are off the air, thier show gets canceled, in the mean time they spent all thier own money trying to keep it alive.

I am pretty liberal---but I can't stand the guy---never had much of a desire to listen to him---it doesn't even interest me.

I did have a kid a while back look at me and say, "F-you, bitch." Everybody in study hall froze and waited to se what I would do. I think he wanted me to throw a small thermo-nuclear explosion. I quietly said, "You need to go to th office and tell them that you are to be suspended for two reasons: One, you need to be suspended for lack of originality and creativity---you think you are the only person to say that to me or think that about me? And two, I am not a female dog---I guess you had serious problems with biology, too." I went back to helping a few of the students out with their essays, and the kid drifted down to the office.

Or it could be Kerry actually demonstrated the disdain he has shown the military since the "Winter Soldier" hearings in the '70s, where he grossly exaggerated war atrocities by US troops in order to gain publicity for his anti-war cause.

BTW, Kerry still has not released his service record or his original discharge papers to the media.

First, I don't like Imus. I think this comments were a personal attack on some college students that didn't deserve it.

That being said, CBS has no room to attack Imus. CBS had a business relationship with MTV for years--one of the driving forces for bringing the word "ho" to the masses.

This is ridiculous. Why isn't Al Sharpton apolgizing to the entire Duke Lacrosse team?

What got me is Al Sharpton was on the Today show this morning talking about the Imus situation and he was asked about the double standards and how blacks can say those words in their music everyday. He talked about how he has a meeting set up for next week to discuss those issues. Hell he dropped everything to take on Imus, but blacks have been spouting the same crap over the airwaves for years and nothing.

Another thing that got me was how nothing is going to be done to the black woman who filed those false rape allegations against those Duke players. You better believe if it was a white woman who falsely accused 3 black men and they said nothing would be done to the white woman ole Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be fighting for camera time to cry about how more injustice is being committed against the black race.

Don't you know it's freedome of speech until you hurt someone's feelings.
