Letter to the Editor
6/7/95 - Arlington, Washington Times

During the past several months in the American press, the Democrats have frequently denounced the Republicans as ***** due to their attempts to control runaway federal spending. How very ironic. I remember the *****. Let me share a little about them and recall some of their exploits.

First of all, "****" was gutter slang for the verb "to nationalize." The Bider-Mienhoff gang gave themselves this moniker during their early struggles. The official title of the **** Party was "The National Socialist Workers Party of Germany." Hitler and the Brownshirts advocated the nationalization of education, health care, transportation, national resources, manufacturing, distribution and law enforcement.

Hitler came to power by turning the working class, unemployed, and academic elite against the conservative republic. After der fuhrer's election ceased being a political conspiracy and was transformed into a fashionable social phenomenon, party membership was especially popular with educators, bureaucrats, and the press. Being a **** was politically correct. They called themselves "The Children of the New Age of World Order" and looked down their noses at everyone else. As Hitler accrued more power, he referred to his critics as "The Dark Forces of Anarchy and Hatred." Anyone who questioned **** high-handedness in the German press was branded a "Conservative Reactionary." Joseph Goebbels, minister of communications, proclaimed a "New World Order."

The **** reign of terror began with false news reports on the Jews, Bohemians and Gypses who were said to be arming themselves to overthrow the "New World Order" and Hitler demanded that all good people register their guns so that they wouldn't fall into the hands of "terrorists and madmen." Right wing fanatics of the "Old Order" who protested firearms registration were arrested by the S.S. and put in jail for "fomenting hatred against the Government of the German people."

Then the Reichstag (government building) was blown up and Hitler ram-rodded an "Emergency Anti-Terrorist Act" through Parliament that gave the Gestapo extraordinary powers. The leader then declared that for the well-being of the German people, all private firearms were to be confiscated by the Gestapo and the Wermotten (federal law enforcement and military). German citizens who refused to surrender their guns when the "jack-boots" (Gestapo) came calling, were murdered in their homes. By the way, the Gestapo were the federal marshals' service of the Third Reich. The S.W.A.T. team was invented and perfected by the Gestapo to break into the homes of the enemies of the German people.

When the Policia Bewakken, or local police, refused to take away guns from townsfolk, they themselves were disarmed and dragged out into the street and shot to death by the S.A. and the S.S. Those were **** versions of the B.A.T.F. and the F.B.I. When several local ministers spoke out against these atrocities, they were imprisoned and never seen again.

The Gestapo began to confiscate and seize the homes, businesses, bank accounts, and personal belongings of wealthy conservative citizes who had prospered in the old Republic. Pamphleteers who urged revolt against the ***** were shot on sight by national law enforcement and the military. Gypsies and Jews were detained and sent to labor camps. Mountain roads throughout central Europe were closed to prevent the escape of fugitives into the wilderness, and to prevent the movement and concealment of partisan resistance fighters.

Public schools rewrote history and Hitler youth groups taught the children to report their parents to their teachers for anti-**** remarks. Such parents disappeared. Pagan animism became the state religion of the Third Reich and Christians were widely condemned as "right wing fanatics."

Millions of books were burned first and then people. Millions of them burned in huge ovens after they were first gassed to death. Unmarried women were paid large sums of money to have babies out of wedlock and then given medals for it. Evil was declared as being good, and good was condemned as being evil. World Order was coming and the German people were going to be the "peacekeepers."

Yes, indeed, I remember the ***** and they weren't Republicans, or "right wing," or "patriots" or "militias." They were Socialist monsters.

You asked for an example and I gave you one. You did not ask if the men in black detained or otherwise apprehended me. Comprehension of what you say and ask is crucial to a debate.

Ignorance must truly be bliss, are you feeling euphoric at the moment? This country has the innate duty to protect itself and her citizens. Trashing the BoR is NOT, I say again is NOT the way to go about it. If you had any clue as to the system that was in place prior to Sept 11th 2001, governing domestic intelligence you would not have opened your virtual mouth and made a fool of yourself and disgraced every man and woman who fought and died to keep this country free. So much for those.

I worry about the government sponsored goons affecting my family more so than I do some terrorist. I refuse to fly because I loathe the TSA, the welfare rejects that they employ, and the tax dollars that they waste. I worry about some low life accosting my family more than I do a jihadi directly affecting them. I take the proper precautions to protect them from the same; it is my duty as a husband and father to do so.

If you think for one second that the BS promulgated since Sept 11th has kept or made you any safer you are easily lead into a false sense of security. There is no way to make everyone ‘safe’, but it is possible to make the weak minded FEEL safe. That’s quite simple really. Put some fool in a suit and have them walk around with a radio and a tin badge, that’ll deter someone who’s religiously motivated and hell bent on killing as many people as they can.

All I ask for is Liberty. Not everyone can handle it, but I for one can. If you can’t handle it move to England and be a subject of the Crown.

 

Are you kidding me? Pres. Bush Sr.declared a New World order almost 2 decades ago. Read that article and tell me that some of those very things aren't happening here in America today.

For starters, I applaud your attempt at a worthy rebuttle to my post, and hereforth I will take the time to properly unveil why I have classified it as an attempt, not a real reply.

Secondly, I do not think that it "somehow" makes me safer. I KNOW that it makes me safer because it allows the proper individuals in the government to work as readily and freely as possible to track down, find, and eliminate threats to my (and my fellow citizens' safety).

It sounds as if you aren't very educated, and don't get out much...so I will gladly give you a brief explanation of the situation and our enemy so that you can attempt (Again, I use the word attempt because you have demonstrated your critical thinking skills already, and even with me holding your hand I'm not sure you will be capable of grasping the concept at hand).

For starters, the terrorist extremists set to destroy america have made it VERY clear that they will NOT stop their attacks, and they will not stop at anything to kill Americans. That said, our only solution to this problem is to seek them out, one by one, by WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY and either detain, or kill them. There is no room for diplomacy here, and if you think there is, well you only further demonstrate your ignorance of their culture, cause, and determination. Period.

Just because the Constitution was built heavily upon beliefs of christians and the ways of The Word doesn't mean that it is a holy text. The Bible is THE truth...and the source for all truth, not our constitution, btw.

Our forefathers were just as capable of taking things out of context as you have demonstrated yourself to be with your previous posts. Hate to burst your bubble sonny, but they were not implying that God gave everyone the right to privacy...or any right at all for that matter.

That said, then the government having a right to, say, monitor my thoughts when I am flying a Deathstar in my made up reality while I am day dreaming wouldn't matter since having the RIGHT wouldn't actually make them capable of doing it. So having a right to monitor something (ie each and every one's personal calls etc wouldn't actually make them capable of doing it. It gives them the right to do it, but that doesn't mean they can. Nor does it mean they want to.
What the hell do they have to gain? the world has changed since 1938. It's called globalization. Do you honestly think that it would be possible for "a governemtn/regime" in the United States to pull off anything even close to that of **** Germany?

Everyone is convinced "the government" is out to get them and take their rights. What for? The world, society, the global community; all of these factors would stop changes like The Patriot act from actually allowing a government to use it in such a detrimental manner.

 

As for Raul, wow, I hope you and PONY DRIVER can find a way to financially survive when you both move in together in San Francisco and become "life partners."

Is not your entire argument based upon the idea that as Americans we have the right to privacy, the right to FREEDOM, and so on? Well please explain to me how ANY of those rights, scratch that, ALL of those rights can be excersized after a dirty bomb has gone off killing you, your family, your friends, your trashman, your dentist, (you get the point) and so on. THE POINT OF THIS PATRIOT ACT IS TO SAVE LIVES AND KEEP AMERICANS SAFE WITHIN THEIR OWN FREAKING BORDERS, in the land of freedom.

It's called sacrifice jackass. you want to live luxuriously when you retire? then when you are young you have to get the family sedan and not the sports car and put the money into retirement funds. Same concept, for your own better sake of PERSONAL RIGHTS you must be willing to give up some other, smaller, less important rights. I think you may be trying to avoid the real question here. But its all good...

 

Actually, I read that 4 times and seriously couldn't figure out wtf you were talking about. It was a flashback to when I tutored in a kindergarten class for a summer and helped grade the kids' work.

Either way, no I am not scared...of what you are implying, I don't even know. And secondly, about me enlisting...I've already made a promise to myself that the day things get really bad and it goes as far as having a real shortage of men and women in the armed services, and the draft becomes necessary, I will go enlist at Camp Pendleton and serve as a Marine, just like my father proudly did.

In the meantime, however, I have prayed about it and given it serious thought and I do not feel it is the right path for me at this point in my life. I'm not scared...in fact, to be honest, I would welcome the opportunity to serve my country and kill some of the POS f*ckers that made this entire debate necessary.

it is about monitoring calls to known terrorist phone numbers, not about calls from joe Schmo to his grandma.

they have a computer program that looks at who calls who that really is just so they can hone in on suspected terrorist activity. i.e. lots of calls to a suspicious number in Iraq/Iran/Afganistan/Saudi Arabia.

This program, at least as it is being reported, does not involve the government listening in on everybody's calls. I'm not saying that it doesn't happen, but it hasn't been uncovered to be happening as of yet. When I see that the government is listening in on everybody's calls then I'll be ticked. Right now they just keep a record of calling patterns.
