Sorry, but....I totally disagree....Chris has an awesome voice. He should win by far.

 

I was out of town and could not post, but my wife could verify that I did indeed predict Elliot to be bottom 3. Actually, I thought Elliot would be eliminated this week.

Bucky had no chance to win, but I was hoping he would stick around and finish ahead of Ace. I like Bucky.

Momentum changes week to week, but here is how I think they will finish:

1) Chris is the real deal and a huge favorite to win.

2) Pickler has moved up the ladder. Love her or hate her, she has a legitimate shot to make the final 2. Huge controversy will result if she does. Good for ratings. The fake ditzy behavior does not seem to hurt her votes. The sentimental grandfather angle is working to gather huge votes, IMO.

3) Cat McPhee - is a more talented singer and better looking than Pickler, but Cat is a bit of a spaz. The crying dad backstory not as good at getting votes as Kelly's story.

4) Taylor has slipped a lot lately. He better get back on track or he is looking at a 3rd or worse place finish. I previously thought he had a great chance at top 2.

5) Paris - talented girl, almost 0% chance to win.

6) Elliot - Nice vocal talent. Might beat Ace next week, but he's going home soon (6th or 7th). No chance to win.

7) Ace - He bugs me, but I guess he does have some talent. I hope he finishes below Elliot. He will come in either 6th or 7th. No chance to win.

 

I think this is a good explanation why she's still in it.

 

My OPINION on tonight's show:

Chris-awesome as usual
Paris-good, but she sounds the same all the time
Taylor-started out Ok but ended great
Ace-hated the look, but he did OK
Pickler-no comment
Elliot-good
Katherine-very good

Bottom 3 tomorrow-Ace, Picker, Elliot (Paris has a bigger fan base)

Winner will be between Chris and Katherine

I totally agree. Pickler took a huge step backward and Kat stepped up and made a good case to make top 2.

Elliot sounded good, but was boring and will probably go home. Ace was OK but it was tough competition this week. If Pickler is not bottom 3 this week, I will be amazed. She won't go home, though, and she might bounce back.

Overall, this was one of the best shows I've seen. Chris, Paris and Taylor started off the show very strong, and Catherine was fabulous at the end.

 

I was hurting for Pickler tonight!

My wife and I think she's great... especially after last week. But tonight's performance did disappoint.

Chris and Catherine are our top 2.

These guys have been pretty accurate overall, but they are all pretty low numbers wich I think can throw off their estimates. I wouldn't be suprised to see ace go though.

Chris I was glad to see actually sing tonight. If he can mix it up some between that and moderately rock song I think he'll pull himself back up a bit.

Katherine I'm getting a little more into. She did really good.

Ace was just kinda wierd for me last night.

Killie, well, I think even her fans could agree she botched that one good. I think it just demonstrates that she's not consistent. Another one of those performances and I think she's in trouble. You can't afford to do that at this stage. "Glad you got that off my chest!"

All the others did pretty good. AI is back to normal I think now.

Boy, did I pick that wrong. The only one right I had in the bottom three was Ace. Just goes to show you, you just never know.

 

I hope that Chris gets his act together for those of you that thinks he's the best.

I was glad to see Ace go. His Michael Jackson sound was quite annoying, to say the least. My final two is still Taylor and Katharine.

 

I was kinda hoping Kellie would be gone this week. even though I do like her and all, last night she sung horrable! I don't think she will make it much longer. It doesn';t even look like she is having much fun anymore singing like she used to do when this show began. I'm rooting for Chris or the other younger white girl (forgot her name?)

 

What happened to.....GO PICKLER!!!

 

My wife got me hooked on this show during the San Francisco auditions and I haven't been able to quit watching. Here's my take on the remaining six.

Taylor- Great charisma and a good singing voice but always seems to pick the wrong songs. I'm still waiting on him to impress me vocally. I know he's got talent.

Chris- A true rocker and great stage presence. I think he'll make it to the top 3. Plus, he works as a service advisor for a Ford dealership.(cool)

Elliott- (my favorite) By far the best male vocalist left in the competition but he just doesn't have the look. He also just seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Unfortunately the American public isn't voting on talent alone.

Katharine- Beautiful and what a set of pipes. This girl can sing. If she doesn't win it, she should definitely finish top 2.

Paris- This girl has a great singing voice. She looks so young but gets up there and belts it out like someone twice her age.

Kellie- Why oh why is she still in this competition? Just goes to show how America thinks. The country doesn't need another Jessica Simpson. C'mon folks, this isn't a t-n-a competition.
