Yeah, he did ok tonight. Didn't care for the song much. Taylor was a let down. and Ditzy tried to make like she was really that dumb. Overall it's getting boring

I still like watching Chris. I bought Absent Element's album. It's pretty good. I will write up a review when I get some time later.

 

Chris was good again. He proved he can sing something other than rock and he has the best chance to win.

Taylor was weak. Way below his usual level. He's still a potential winner but he needs to get back on track.

Mandisa was horrible. She can sing, but I think she is in trouble and has a very good chance of getting booted tonight.

Elliot has a fine voice and I enjoyed his performance. I don't think he can win the whole thing though, but he is safe for a few more weeks.

Pickler looked and sounded better than usual. She will sail through and has a good chance to finish top 3 or top 4, which will put her ahead of singers who are more talented. That's life on American Idol.

Katherine - looked good and sounded good. I think she will probably finish the season as the highest ranking female, finishing 2nd or 3rd (behind Daughtry).

Paris - I don't like her, but she was decent this week. She'll stick around for maybe 2 or 3 more weeks.

Ace - He was better than usual, but hit a few painful notes near the end. I would like to see him go, but he'll stick around for another 2 or 3 weeks.

Bucky - I enjoy his voice and performances, but he's got no chance to win this thing. He'll probably get through this week, but he be booted off next week.


My guess for tonight's bottom 3: Mandisa, Bucky and Taylor (wake up call).

Mandisa will get the boot.

 

Sadly, I missed last night's show. I've seen some bits of it, and read about most of the performances. From what I gather, Taylor chose a poor song. What gets me is that Ray Charles recorded oodles of country tunes. Why he didn't choose one of those is beyond me. Did Pickle play ditzy as usual? Actually, do I really need to ask?

I think you're right, but I wish Pickler would go. McPhee is starting to get on my nerves too. I don't think she's all that "sweet" as she potrays.

 

Your response says a lot. It's funny how you, as a female, have a dislike for the two best-looking girls. They are not even the worst of the remaining singers. This is a classic example of "girl hate." Reminds me of how Stacy Keibler, Dancing with the Stars, received so much hatred towards her from the not so pretty, overweight, and jealous females. Well, I think McPhee is awesome. I dont care for her style in music, but the chick can sing.

Ok I watched the sad thing last night at my wife's prodding because it was country night.

A. I heard very little country.
B. I heard no good country.

Dude, don't be such a tard. As a matter of fact I don't really care for any of the remaining girls. I like Kelly Clarkson (or did) and Carrie Underwood a lot. Katherine has a fine voice, but the "oh look me I'm so.." is a bit tiresome. I keep waiting for her to sing her rendition "I'm too sexy" by Right said Fred. Kellie Pickler on the other hand has her moments but has zero versatility. What's really bad is she is either dumb or pretending to be dumb. Either was it's REALLY annoying. She might be better than two of the remaining performers IMO.
